In addition, this organization is known for its extensive and rigorous courses, including the UC Berkeley Health Education Program for Graduate Students.
The current organization of public health is a non-profit organization founded on a belief in one’s civic right to be healthy at home by providing health education and services to those who have received it on a voluntary basis. These include healthcare systems based in five states (CA, CT, DE, IA, KS, IL, MI, MN, MO and MS). These states also include Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, Maryland and Illinois. This organization has offices in at least ten of these states.
The health and social services provided by the GEE are managed by local government agencies. These include food, educational, health and community development departments, local health services organizations and agencies. There is also the GEE Community Service Fund, an open money financing project funded in part by the American Association of Social Work (AAW), which is working on health programs for the majority of communities. Some programs at the state level include the California Community Service Fund and the California Community Service Commission (CCSC) and are operated in communities with significant urban and rural health issues, such as San Francisco. Another program, the California Health Improvement Fund, is controlled entirely by law. In conjunction with its law firm, the GEE promotes health and social services for California residents through these programs. There are also state programs for the following: medical marijuana cultivation, education systems and health training for all ages.; and access to mental health counseling and services through the GEE. The GEE’s services include: prevention of drug use, early intervention and relapse prevention and other mental health support programs. In addition, the GEE operates a community outreach program based at the University of California, Los Angeles. Other services: prevention and intervention of violence against women, childhood sexual abuse, depression, suicidal ideation and trauma, child care services and child rearing programs. In addition, the GEE also conducts regular programs to educate public and private citizens about the proper use of firearms in this country and to improve the mental health and safety of people. Although some of these services take place at local hospitals and medical centers, as well as elsewhere within the state and national healthcare system, they are also operated for the entire community at the state and local level. In order to provide these various services throughout the state, the GEE does not only have a small number of members, but also limited resources. This funding provides for a number of basic programs and services. However, they are especially important for those who have received the GEE’s benefits and have committed to attending more than one GEE event each year. The GEE also regularly publishes numerous reports in newspapers and magazines covering its activities.
