Last spring break, I went to Seattle with my sister to visit my cousin from Thursday to Sunday, but he had to go to work on Friday and he had a party he had to attend to. I realized that I had a friend from my high school that went to Seattle to study. I called her days before I went to Seattle to make sure she is free for the day and luckily, she was. I was very excited to see her because it had been a long time since the last time I saw her, but there was a transportation problem. She did not have a car and it would be impossible for my cousin to take me to the market, the place where we decided to meet. Later that day, I decided to take the bus to go to the market even though I was not very sure that I would make it to there without getting lost because even if I got into the right bus and stopped at the right place, I still had to walk to the market. This is where my iPhone came in handy because I managed to use the GPS application to direct. I also used my GPS application inside the bus as well to make sure that I got off at the right stop. Thanks to iPhone, I did not start a new life in Seattle because I could not find my way home.
There were times when we went to a party and a song that sounds we really liked but we did not know the name of the song. So, later that night, we used our computer to find the name of the song but what we got were songs from the 70s. When I bought the iPhone, I searched the application store to download applications that might be useful for me to use. As I went through the list, I saw an application called Shazam and because I thought the name was pretty cool, I read through the function of the application. The application was able to tell us what song was played. Bullseye, I thought, because I had waited for something like this to help me figure out songs that I did not know the name of. So, that day, I listened to the radio to test my new application that I just downloaded. It was a great application because as a music lover, I always wanted to know every song that interests me and until now, if there was a song played with an unknown name, my iPhone became my savior.
The iPhone’s music discovery tool also allowed me to get a good look at what the song was like before the song was played.< And there was something that inspired the other applications to help me tune them. At one point, during the song search, I would be shown a song that was similar to a famous song which had been played in the early 70s. Or some other songs I wanted my iPhone to listen to, but for different reasons, I could not see the name of the song so I was left wondering where the song was really. There was just another application that came to my aid.
I thought: “What an interesting application, so how do I find this song! Here is the song I think you need to listen to for this app.” It is really pretty. It will let you sort out the meaning of other songs and if this is a particular song, you can choose a specific date of the day. You can play it. It allows you to read the lyrics. We would be interested in the meaning of this song, since there is no time machine like in this song because there are no time machines. This application’s ability to find a specific song is something all Apple’s applications have to offer.lists.
