�Saving Private Ryan’ was released on September 11th 1998. The movie was directed by Steven Spielberg, who is a successful director of many movies. The main actors in the movie were Tom Hanks playing Captain Miller and Matt Damon as Private Ryan. The central theme of the film is the moral dilemmas faced by soldiers in any war and the courage and strength drawn from their friendships.
Five times Academy Oscar Award winner, including Best director in 1999, �Saving Private Ryan’ is set in Normandy, France in the 1945. The American troops who are a part of an allied force land on Omaha beach and aim to push the Germans out of France. The film is based on World War 2 and the core element is that at the commence of the film, someone running with hand help camera making it realistic and Spielberg has used it to emphasise the true meaning of the war and how it make you feel through the soldiers being terrified and most of them don’t experience of the war therefore the nerves ness take’s over. Spielberg’s made the movie a realistic as possible, so the audience has empathy towards the soldiers.
As traditional war movies contain a side to it. They’re usually biased and patriotic; however �Saving Private Ryan’ doesn’t maintain their image from action and adventure. This film doesn’t have any heroes or winner it’s mainly showing how dreadful the war is. They have one main theme, TO STOP WAR. Show that war isn’t something that you should play with. People get encouraged from seeing these movies but Spielberg put so much violence and the hand held camera emphasises, the chaos and no one can survive with out and injury or pose-traumatic stress.
