Che Guevara CaseEssay Preview: Che Guevara CaseReport this essayErnesto “Che” Guevara was born May 14, 1928 in Argentina and studied medicine at the University of Buenos Aires He is known as revolutionary and a freedom fighter with great character, but he was also a murdering machine. Che Guevara may have wanted to stop poverty and create equality with his socialist ideas but all he did was become overcome with power just like so many before him. He killed innocent Cubans without a fair trial, he aided the Soviets, and he even tried spreading his socialist spiel in other countries. Che Guevara is an icon all around the world and it is juvenile that people are so uneducated they walk around with a deadly dictator on their shirt thinking that he is some sort of Gandhi.
- Che Guevara is a revolutionary, he is a murderer, he is a thug, he is a killer.” A journalist, a revolutionary, and a tyrant has a bad memory. http://jezebel.com/article.aspx?articleId=24184738 Che Guevara was executed in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina on 19 September 1979 to be exact. It’s quite remarkable that, as reported by the Argentine state paper, The Times of Buenos Aires, Guevara managed to get his hands on an enormous number of weapons, many of which were used for terror with a specific aim of the USSR. He would get into great trouble for everything from shooting at an Argentine military position and being able to shoot one of them down, as well as other military vehicles that he was working with. Bolivians are also quite the baddies – his military and CIA are such that, while they are able to shoot down a jet airliner, they are unable to stop his jetting aircraft from strafing other aircraft. Che Guevara, on the other hand, had a lot of military experience flying, and in fact went through numerous training missions where he would help get out of prison. His former comrades have said that he helped to arrange a plot that helped the Soviet authorities overthrow the Brazilian dictator Benito Mussolini in 1974, while he was imprisoned. If this is true and correct, then it could give one reason why Che Guevara has remained in detention, and why he is considered one of the most powerful men in the world and not just a victim of such crimes. There is still a lot to be said about what inspired this particular attack, but how much of it is still unknown, or whether it can be true, or perhaps if such a plot was to have been carried out. http://www.thetelegraph.co.uk/news/world-europe/world-news/19482029-che-guevara-banned-from-gazetes-warwick-dollars-a-torture-hit-by-nano-warhawks.html

On November 25, 1956 Che, the Castro brothers, and 82 men set out for Cuba on an old boat called the” Granma.” Their mission was simple, use guerilla warfare too overthrow Batista and revolutionize Cuba. When Castro finally came to power in 1959, Che became in charge of La Cabaña Fortress prison, it is predicted about 500 people were executed on his order. (Che Guevara, Biography.com) “I dont need proof to execute a man” (Che Guevara: 39 Years of Hype, Humberto Fontova) Following this act of manslaughter Guevara was appointed president of the national bank of Cuba and the head of ministry of industry, Guevara had no financial or governmental experience whatsoever and was surely setting up the Cuban economy for failure. Guevara travelled around the globe to trade with welcoming countries. It was because of Che that the Soviet Union agreed to buy sugar from Cuba in exchange for strategic support. (Che Guevara, encyclopedia.com) In 1961 Guevara published “La Guerra de guerrillas” a book which outlined how to progress in guerilla warfare. The book was used to train guerrilla soldiers and it also supplied tactics; Che said that soldiers should
“Hate as an element of struggle; unbending hatred for the enemy, which pushes a human being beyond his natural limitations, making him into an effective, violent, selective, and cold-blooded killing machine. This is what our soldiers must become” (Che Guevara, Torture and Tyranny: The Real Che, R. McElroy)
Che Guevara was losing his mind with power,“Crazy with fury I will stain my rifle red while slaughtering any enemy that falls in my hands! My nostrils dilate while savoring the acrid odor of gunpowder and blood. With the deaths of my enemies I prepare my being for the sacred fight and join the triumphant proletariat with a bestial howl!” (Che Guevara, Torture and Tyranny: The Real Che, R. McElroy)
Unfortunately this was only the beginning of Guevaras rampage, as he grew older and more powerful he became angrier and less charitable, a strong hate towards the United States and Capitalism burned
