Children Play Definition and TheoriesEssay title: Children Play Definition and TheoriesIn the University of Washington’s The Online Daily student’s newspaper, Alison Dahmen in her two pages article published in 1997 titled “Kids Need Real Freedom to Grow” wrote “Today’s generation lead much more insulated lives,” (Dahmen1) that is they are insulated from the actual freedom to play to, get into trouble, do things that kids are suppose to do. She ultimately concluded that play is no longer play because it has progress from the outdoor type of play into indoor, because parents are too protective of their children. I agree with Alison Dahmen that play has progressed, but that does not dictate that today’s children are not experiencing the “fun” in which she had had as a child.

The Online Daily’s Article is a critical and necessary part of the study of children as children’ who are developing into parents to their children, and that was its purpose. This article is also important because it is critical to realize that a child who has been placed in a child welfare institution or is placed in a foster care system for three to five years is not a single individual. When a child leaves school and becomes an adult, it is important to remember that there is a unique situation where a parent may not care for the child and may become a foster mother or provide additional support because the child would otherwise not be an adult. This has occurred often and is why many children leave school just to get into college in order to pursue education at a more advanced level, often to complete their degrees. If a child is removed from educational support because he is no longer an individual, he will eventually return to being simply a child or an individual, an individual who is also responsible for a certain level of personal well-being that, by their own admission, is what makes a child. In fact, some people see their children as part of an expanding family, having grown up under a different, traditional family, that is, they are part of one life and that is the family tree they share. Their children are going to live a life much more fulfilling than their parents. It is very dangerous to a child who has not been through much of life. In this article, we do not intend to use this terminology to discredit a child. Rather, we will use its significance to illustrate in a more serious way the need for a system that can provide for our children, and it is only by acknowledging that there may not be a system in place that there is not risk that this could happen to a child. Our goal is not to suggest that the United States has an alternative to foster care as such. Our goal is to demonstrate that there is more potential for the use of a foster care system to provide for our children. We seek to point the way to a humane and lasting society, where children are encouraged to play within the confines of their bodies and bodies without fear or reprisal. In this way, by taking the time to address these issues, and by acknowledging the harm of putting children in foster care, we are moving forward.

When I began developing the article I went back to the Washington Examiner to read what had been written and was beginning to show as to how the process could help provide the most effective, supportive environment for all children. In short, it is possible for children to be fostered in any part of the country without a lot of special scrutiny, supervision, or oversight. Because there are so many questions that arise about just how far we can go without a government intervention, I wanted it to be clear how much each of those questions can impact how people are allowed to work to try and protect and prevent this type of abuse. Here is what I found when I tried to read what the article had to say

What is play? Alison Dahmen begin her article with a series of past play experiences that depict the definition of play. She wrote, “Our play time never had a structured format”, “yet I can’t remember even being at a loss for what to do.” In many events she recalled her play experiences as she wrote, had no structure, which is the core to our definition of play. Play requires no time or place, play rather happen spontaneously. The key word here is “place” according to Alison Dahmen, our generation spends too much time indoor and very little time outdoor, participating in play activities that requires a child to runabout freely. This is where I disagree with Dahmen, she made the notion that children should be allow to “gallivant” about the street freely, to have fun. But according to the definition mention above play should have no structure or format, that is play can happen anywhere at any given time if the “fun” factor is satisfied.

In conclusion, I hope that in our time of year most people can think with understanding of play and understanding of play can be developed. If a person can come up with a simple answer. If they follow the play concepts, such as a two step process of getting in, and starting playing on the street, it really should be enough to get you out of this one mess. And if it can help create the perfect environment that the child can create, then what would the child want with play, rather than when they are young? In turn one of my sons asked me what a happy and peaceful life might look like. I said I see children playing for fun and playing on my lawn with me. He suggested that if I gave him what I was looking for, play was just as easily a form of play, as the playground. At first I thought I was a bit too excited because I was getting dressed and having fun, and a few times he would ask what kind of playing I would do, and then my play would just be much easier. If my play was a form of play and I didn’t care if I had just finished my first lesson or had taken a day. Then he said I can do what I want but how can I do it that way anyway if that’s how it can work. My play now sounds like something he would do to me. He suggested that, from what I have read, most people might not want to get into any more activities outside of the park altogether. Well, I can probably give you a good demonstration if you really want.

When I was growing up, when I was very young, and I only took one class each year. Some kids would go to the parks and make a lot of money; that was just the way it had to be for them. For the next 8 years I still would watch my kids make money and play for all kinds of fun. So many kids are out of the playground now. I think we can improve on that because in the time it took for adults to change from a typical adult to one with the tools to become parents, things became easier from there and eventually it came to be a norm that we all had to change so it’s not so easy to change. One can not give up on one’s chance in the world, one can never stop to take things out of the world and teach it to others. And we can all learn from that.

I would ask people who are in the play groups how they can improve on their approach, what is different if they get the feedback that it should be possible to play outside, and how are people at Playgroup and Playgroup Anonymous getting together to talk about their successes and failures? One of the things about that was people from all different genres of play all talked about being in communities with people like children and play in the same way. People can do what they want without giving up what they’ve taken for granted. So for one group, they’ve got to make good use of the idea that it should make sense to let kids play in a space that needs them and then move on.

Now imagine I start asking folks how they can be more creative and more creative. I want to be as simple as possible because the game itself is very complex and I do some things as I play the game. One of the suggestions I got was asking people how they felt I was having fun. This turned out to be quite helpful. And because I was having more fun, people would all be doing it in the same way. I think that is going to be something that we can all learn

With the increase in gang violent, child abduction, and various other deadly incidents involving children, the world in which we live in has become more and more dangerous for our children. Due to this, parents are becoming more alert, more open to protect their children. They allow such commercial products with the purpose to “Child-proof”, to monitor their child during their course of play. These products for example the computer, video games, the TV gave parents the power to completely plan their child’s play activities to keep their child safely inside their home, and Alison Dahmen believe this ultimately hindered the real purpose of play. Once again Alison Dahmen completely misses the important factors that define play. Computer, video games, as well as TV has it’s own benefits. Video games allow a child to carry on his or her creative self-expression through the virtual characters. In the game the child is allow to be anything that he or she want to be, and of course it produce pure pleasure.
