Dear Teacher,
My name is N; I was come to America in last year. My parent was come here in five years ago. After that, they take me and my sister to America to live with them. Come to American is very difficult for me because the challenges of fitting in with the American ways and culture you have experienced.
First, come to American will be changing my life. In my country, the people cannot have a freedom, they cant say anything they want and they cant write anything not good about the government because my country is communist party. That why my family was come to American. When I come here I think this country can change my life, because it has freedom for everyone. I can say and write anything I want, that can be making my learning a lot from other people. Also, I can learn about new people and new place in this country, it helped me get the knowledge for future.
Second, come to American made me happy. When I came to American, I was going to the Space needle; it is a tower in Seattle, Washington. When I go in this, I was very happy, because I can see all building of Seattle City. Also, I was happy with America because when I came here, it was a Christmas day, in the first night I come here, its snow. I was going outside and make a snowman. It was really cool with me, but it makes me laugh a lot and very fun. Before the first day I go to school, my parents talk to me; they say I can have a better future if I study hard, that why I always fell happy about this country.
Final, come to American is a challenge for me. When I come in here, I didnt know about English, I cant understand and cant read or write. That is a big issue for me. Food also is a big problem with me, I cant eat American food. Temperature is also a big challenge for me. In my country, temperature just around 90F, but in the winter of United States, the temperature can be going down to 35F. This can be made me sick for long time.
New to American is a challenge for my life. But I think I can endure it challenge to get a better future.
