Introduction(1) PurposeThe Christmas season is coming soon, and winter has already started. We thought students need a special party such like the Halloween party. However, most students are not rich enough to go to a luxury party, so we asked what if we throw fun, reasonably priced party. Finally, we decide to plan a Christmas gift exchange party. This activity has 3 purposes: ① The chance to make new friendsAll of the GV students came to GV to learn English. Maybe, they thought if they go to GV, they can make a lot of international friends. However, making new friends is difficult when the students are first learning to speak English. Of course, they can make some friends while they are studying in class but hanging out with each other is the best way to make friends. Therefore, we want to make more chances for students to make friends with other GV students. A total of 25 students will join to this activity. This is not a small number of students, so students can meet a lot of friends and have conversations by speaking English at this party. ② To get a gift in an entreating wayEverybody wants to get a Christmas gift on Christmas Day, but getting a gift from another person is not easy. Regardless of the price of the gift, we are just happy when we get a gift. Therefore, we want to give students happiness on Christmas Day. The students who participate in our activity should buy a gift which costs between $10 and $15. This price is not overwhelming for students. Actually, all of the participants will buy gifts, but they will also get gifts. Therefore, people only have to pay a $3 for entrance fee to participate. Our activity’s goal is to provide a reasonable and satisfied time at the same event. The price of the gift is not important. Exchanging gifts with each other is the most important part of the activity.
