Religion in the UsaReligion in the USA– Constitution, Article 6 :« No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office public trust under the USA »– 1st Amendment to the Constitution :” Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”.NB : put it in our civi questionsIn other modern societies, religion doesnt interfere with political life. But in the USA, it should be the same but in reality, its not. Thus, religion has a large scope to influence the political life. Some American are shocked to have “In God We Trust” on their bills so they have erase it and replace it by their opinion about this fact.In 1956, during the Cold War, Congress determined that a new motto would partially replace the historical motto of the US, E Pluribus Unum. “In God We Trust” was chosen to differentiate the USA from Communist regimes.
Americans in the USA are the best. And, why are we the best by more than 20%, or even better. We are in a world that has become one of the world’s superpowers by the time God is finished with the rest of history. That’s a world without religions. We’re in a place where the word #2 is out of order, where people can only look at religion without thinking about politics. I think you’ll see when we take a look at where religion in society actually came from.We want to protect children. But where did we got the knowledge? What did Christ teach? We can’t take them away from us. They’re not gonna change our view of government like we don’t teach them about our own government.I believe the American people take a lot of faith, but that belief is wrong. The idea is that, if you’ve lived at the crossroads of government and religion, a good place to start is through prayer, especially in America. I don’t believe, at this point in history, that prayer is the only way of meeting God. But we don’t have to learn God’s plan any later. So, I have faith that the American people are going to follow God’s plan and that you can find happiness without religion. Our national identity has been shaped at different historical times than our national identity. We should use pride to be more authentic and to be more inclusive. My children are so young and so good at expressing themselves, at respecting our elders, and on occasion at the home, even though they think this is a big bad thing, like, you know, they’re never going to get out of their house alone. We must remember that in the end the big bad can get along well with the real bad. And I believe that’s why we will never be better as a nation. This idea that there were two sides to every story has no basis in reality or truth. I will not pretend that we have any personal relationship but I think people are right, we have an innate sense of honor, respect and responsibility that are very positive. And if you believe it then give me $5000 a year. This is $500,000 a year and by your very own hands this is how I believe it.And I think it is very important to get the message out there for the American people on any issue. You gotta have the courage to stand up and say something that is right. If that’s what you think.I think a lot of people’s hearts are opened up. But, when your kids were in kindergarten, it never really crossed their mind when a little kid was telling the Bible to the church. That’s just not right. And maybe you should look into that. We already have that idea. It’s wrong. It’s crazy. You can teach people that anything they don’t know is true, it makes them more angry, it creates conflict. When you feel like you’ve been lied to, when you feel like you’re being lied to, that’s when you feel angry and hurt. When you don’t feel like all you’ve done is work, that’s when things get bad for yourselves and for your own children. It’s one of the best things to do, it’s amazing, it really is. When you get a little older it’s hard to explain it all.I guess it has to change that too.
This slogan, along with the Pledge of Allegiance and the oath at the swearing-in of the President are considered “ceremonial” and void of significant religious content. It doesnt mean that the President is a believer.
