Assignment One Scrooge compared to Grinch
A reflective response to a famous work of art that conveys the message of a passage in your assigned stave. Include the artwork. Following are a few examples of ones that could relate.
Scrooge from start to stave four of Christmas Carol has changed a lot from inside he went from selfish, grumpy old man to a kind and generous fellow. The spirits that came to Scrooge are were successful in purifying Scrooge’s heart and his attitude towards other by showing him the past, present and future. Same change is to be found in Dr. seuss’s story of Grinch. Grinch is found to be very greedy person who steals peoples Christmas gifts and other belongings and keeps it to himself and does not like Christmas but he ends up finding the true meaning of Christmas which is not just about getting wrapped up gifts it was about finding happiness. In both of the story the characters think there no meaning of Christmas but at the end both of the character come to realization and find to meaning of Christmas come from being happy not greedy or selfish.
