Personality – Color TestThe test that I am going to use for my personality assignment is the colors test that we did in class. The reason for this, is it gave me the more reliable and realistic assessment on what I think makes up my personality.
This test is one of the most popular personality tests. It is a personality test that asks a series of questions to rate your likes and dislikes. The test will then rate your personality as either a blue, green, orange or gold personality type. You may be a combination of two colors, but usually you will exhibit one primary color. So you have a about five sections with three words in each color which you then rank them either 1 being the least related to you or 4 being very much what you think your personality is. After you do this, you then count up each color from each section to get your answer. My outcome was 16 orange, 15 gold, 10 blue and 9 green.
The description that people who have orange as their color is, they are a adventurous, creativity and free thinking group. And they are most happy when they are doing something fun or creative, but they dont like when rules must be followed and creativity suffers. So this is very much how I perceive myself, if I am having fun you will get the best out of me, but when rules and regulations are put into place I begin to lose interest and get frustrated. Also saying that, I would say that the blue category would be a good analysis of my personality as well, as they are more of an emotional person, and they care about peoples feelings towards themselves and not hurting them is important. The other two colors of green and gold are describe as a thinker and that person wants to know why things are the way they are, so learning is important to this person. And gold is a rule follower even though the rules might not make sense and they get frustrated when people dont follow these.
