Companion Through the Darkness
CompaƱero en la Oscuridad(Companion Through the Darkness)They say that āBeing strong is important, but knowing who you can count on is equally important.āAre you familiar with those times in your life when you feel like just giving up? You make yourself believe that it would be the easiest and most beneficial way out of it. No headache. No pain. No struggle. Of course you know what I am talking about. Everyone has experienced a time like this at least once in his or her lifetime. Now, let us look what is behind the compaƱero en la oscuridad. As You can see, The sun was slowly going down the horizon. As it went down, the burning light of the sun got dull and it looked like a disc of orange and yellow. The sunās orange was mingling with the light blue color of the sky and it produced a vast contrast of different colors. The waves of the sea also seemed to have changed their color to a dull mixture of yellow and orange. And you can also see some vinta boats.
I choose to draw this because as I said awhile back, we face many challenges in life. The sunrise symbolizes the way we start and through my journey I met waves which is either dangerous or not. But I know in myself that I can surpass everything because I have my companions. And this is what the vinta boats symbolize. I am the one in the middle and two big boats are my parents and of course the center of my life, the Almighty God. And those other boats are my friends and relatives.I can now truly say that whatever trials that life will set before me, I have my companions through the darkness. Companions who will watch every sunrise with me until the sunset of my life. And that is why this is entitled āCompaƱero en la Oscuridad (Companion Through the Darkness)ā.Karen Bianca B.
