I was born in Logar one of the most beautiful city of Afghanistan. I am a profound lover of nature, an environmentalist who believes in caring for the environment and especially sustainable development. I am deeply concerned with environmental issues, especially the way in which our global society is losing our timber resources at an alarming rate without replenishing the supply.
My passion for building led me to work towards a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Kabul University. I have a special passion based on processes and sustainability of the environment.
I look forward to dedicating the rest of my life to Green Building. Sustainable construction is the center of my world and what I generally think about even in my free time so, thats why I am selecting sustainable development for my master thesis.
My country Afghanistan is enjoying a construction renaissance these days as a result of development. One of the central pillars of a multi-pronged government strategy is to invest much of this money in construction works that are geared to fomenting long-term strategic development goals. Attaining a Master degree in your program will hopefully enable me to play a central role in this revolution always struggling to preserve our environment at the same time that we foster increasing development for the economy overall.
I love my country very much and I look forward to doing something for my people by working to educate the construction industry as a whole concerning the importance of green initiatives and safeguards. I look forward to working on the cutting edge of the employment of new construction technology in accordance with the implementation of environmental protection mechanisms. Green building is still in its infancy in Afghanistan. And the policies that are developed over the next decade or so will have a profound impact on our ability to preserve the environment. The mistakes that will be made or the failure to find the courage as a society to adopt bold and very costly measures so as to protect our environment and literally lay the foundation for our future will determine to what extent our children and grandchildren will be able to continue to develop and be competitive in a global economy.

A majority of voters in Kenosha County rejected a new law in 2012 that would require employers to pay workers less for overtime if they do not pay wages and overtime if paid more quickly.
The Kew County Chamber of Commerce, which filed the case in 2014 calling the measure constitutional, called the move a “proportionality check” on overtime pay. The group, a small group of 20 members based out of Seattle, filed a request to overturn the Kew County law over opposition from workers who said the Kew County law gave them little ability to compete in the labor force.
Some Kew County leaders, however, are calling the new law the right thing to do.
“This ordinance puts workers and employers at major disadvantage, especially in cases where it creates more competition and less safety for workers through the Kew County Fair Work Act. By increasing overtime by one-third to 10 or 15 cents an hour, taxpayers will lose the right to bargain over an issue in these crucial economic matters with a person or companies that is clearly a large employer and who has long and long-standing relationships with the taxpayer.”
The request to change the law was granted.
But it’s not only the public that sees the law as unconstitutional. The Kew County Chamber of Commerce is demanding that it stop providing jobs to low-wage workers and that it withdraw its support.
Local Democratic Party Secretary Chris Stearns has called it a “bias of the commons” that would “lead to allowing less and less of those workers to pursue fair wages,” but still opposes the change.
But Stearns has also suggested that this is a way for the group to defend itself, calling the law’s “right to work” a “right for everyone to enjoy.”

The City of Kew, home of the Kew County Chamber of Commerce, is demanding it withdraw its support from the new bill. The group has requested a special session to decide to uphold the law as it existed before it was passed in 2012 without any prior discussion or debate.
A hearing date is set for Nov. 6. Members of Kew county have made plans to file a suit in the Kew Federal Court. The case will eventually run in federal court in Seattle. No specific plans have been filed.

According to Kew Councilman Mark Aitken — a Republican whom organizers consider a potential “friend to the people” in the city — the Kew County Chamber believes the new bill “would significantly weaken the Kew County Fair Work Act by disproportionately disadvantaging low-skilled workers.”
In response to criticisms, the Kew County Chamber wants the new law repealed at the next session of the City Council.
