Gretchen Wilson tells you not to be afraid of who you are, she’s saying that you can be yourself, and shouldn’t care what other people think of you. All that matters is your opinion of yourself. Carrie Underwood is telling you that just letting your life go by, wasting away, is stupid, and you should fix it while you still can. Big & Rich tell you that it doesn’t matter what race people are, you should accept them, no matter what you’re doing. Rascal Flatts, tells you to live life at its fullest, and don’t just sit around all day, go out and do something fun while you still can. Country music is a great way to send messages, relax and have fun. Country music is a good way of having fun and relaxing. Country music is also great for singing your heart out. Have you ever felt like belting out the words to a song and dancing until your feet hurt because you liked it so much? Well, that’s how I feel when I listen to some country songs. I know that some of you think that country music is stupid, raise your hand if you don’t like it or only listen to it when your parents make you. *pause for hands* (insert exclamation about how big or small the amount of people is). I love country music, and when I just want to relax, I’ll listen to that. For example, “Ellsworth” by Rascal Flatts, “Grandma burned the biscuits, nearly took the house down with it, now she’s in assisted livin’, we all knew that day would come, we all knew she was to gone to drive the day she parked on I-65, found her on the shoulder cryin’, she didn’t know where she was.
