Your article might covera theme or character, or it might provide historical background or another kind of insight.Remember, though, that you’re focusing on the work, not the author. Summarize: Once you have read and have a thorough understanding of your chosen article,write a 1 ½ to 2 ½ page summary of it. In this section of your paper, use formalacademic language (no contractions or use of “I”).
