Critical Thinking
Critical thinking begins in early childhood. As you grow older you evolve as person with natural critical thinking skills. By working hard studying you gain knowledge that will improve your critical thinking skills. We learn to apply past experience, memories and the many critical thinking experiences in our personal lives such as decisions on family, careers, money and health.
We use a variety of methods to solve problems and process information. Before you start a task or take on a responsibility one must make sure they go through the steps to accomplish what you set out to do. “Critical thinking examines information in order to evaluate a task, issue, or situation from an alternative perspective, then gathers evidence or knowledge to permit the accomplishment of the task or the resolution of the issue”. (Abitheira, 2014).
The more clearly we are aware of ourselves, our strengths and weaknesses, the more likely our critical thinking will be more beneficial and productive. (EMÄ°Ra, 2013). The process of critical thinking is the process that leads to creativity in thinking and can be viewed as thinking and reasoning at its full strength. Teaching students how to think deeply while in their online course is one of the goals of this project with the main goal is to reach the highest level of quality thinking. Learning is constantly evolving.
Critical thinking involves more than just a superficial answer to a problem. It is deeper thinking and more in depth. It is the ability to discern the truthfulness of an argument which is accomplished by research, and logic and process of using the proper information and skills to solve a problem. One cannot just gain critical thinking skills, it is a process that is learned through experiences. I believe developing critical thinking starts with have good understanding. (Edward M.
