Those views and ideas could be holding you back from thinking critically, even though you may not be aware of it. Critical Thinking encourages us to be open or receptive to new ideas and help us to identify Bias and prejudice. Our awareness of these barriers can help us to overcome them and make better-informed decisions.     Critical thinking is an important skill that you will need to succeed in life. Barriers in Critical Thinking can be a detriment and very harmful to the critical thinking process.  By knowing how these obstacles affect our Critical Thinking process, individuals can achieve not only academic success but also be successful in many other areas of their lives.Critical thinking can benefit all individual by helping us making major decisions in life and solve problems more creatively and make decisions in every area of life with more confidence.Provide an example from your personal experience of critical thinking applied to a business decision.      In the process of buying a house, I have used Critical thinking to evaluate arguments or propositions and making decisions that facilitated my decision-making progress. Rather fall to impulse buying any home, I used critical analysis of my needs, my financial situation and resources necessary in the purchase of my house.  Determining if one can afford the house is crucial in this process.  Weighing the purchase of the home against other needed items is one factor that needs to be considered.  Then, determining if the house is appropriate to ones needs is essential; such things as location, square footage, taxes, schools, future expenses such as repairs, etc. must be considered. I had to make the right decision, ask the right questions, evaluate information and come to a trustworthy and dependable conclusion. My awareness of critical thinking helps me to overcome barriers that prevent me from making unbiased decisions and make better-informed decisions while searching for a new home that met my requirements.Discuss the importance and benefits of using critical thinking.     Critical thinking utilizes many processes and procedures. Any individual can take a course of action that can have a positive or adverse effect on their careers, their employer, and co-workers. When we used Critical Thinking, it is impossible to say that many of us have not come to some  barrier in our thought process. All of us have opinions and ideas on just about everything
