Abstract
Motion graphic began to appear around us. Many advertisement using motion graphic
which can provide lots of information in short time. Thus, it might also attract people to
watch. Most of motion graphic video were using own design principle as guideline.
Researcher want to construct new perspective for motion graphic design about the
application of hybrid design principles through interspersed study of photography
principles. Besides, researcher want to study about how design principles of
photography can be composite into design principles of motion graphic. After this
research, how researcher will apply this “new set of design principles” in motion
graphic. Journals had been studied which related about cross study of principle for
researcher to get the basic ideas and knowledge from both design principle. Case
study had been applied in this research which will help to show how practitioner using
design principles in their artwork. Cross study design principle in motion graphic can
be occurred which might help designers and artists to come out a new set of design
principle for motion graphic. By using cross study design principles, motion graphic
might be more interest and vivid.
