Although, He is at fault for hitting a policeman and hitting the girl at school he is not at fault for any of the other conflicts that occur. Christopher is a 15 year old boy who has a highfunctioning level of autism. He can do difficult maths problems in his head and also has an intrest of science. Chris finds interating with people difficult and uncomfortable. One of the conflicts that Chris had caused is the where he hit the officer. At the beginning of the novel,Christopher discovered Wellington, the dog, laying on the ground dead during the middle of the night with a pitchfork stabbed into the dog. Chris pulled the fork out of Wellington and lifted him into [ his ] arms and hugged him. The owner of the dog, Mrs Shears ran out and called the police
