Of Mice and Men – Theme of Lonliness in the BookEssay Preview: Of Mice and Men – Theme of Lonliness in the BookReport this essayOf Mice and Men Literary AnalysisOf Mice and Men, written by John Steinbeck, is a book that can be analyzed and broken down into a vast majority of themes. One of the predominant themes found in this book is loneliness. Many characters in this book are affected by loneliness and they all demonstrate it in one way or another throughout the book. Examples of these characters are Curleys Wife, Crooks, and Candy.
All through the book Curleys Wife is very “open” to everyone she meets. The reason for this can be interpreted by her and Curleys “so-called” marriage. The relationship between Curleys Wife and Curley seems to be somewhat unstable as he is always asking “Any you guys seen my wife?” (pg. ). This also shows how protective Curley seems to be as he is always checking up on where his wife is. Curleys insecurity seems to cage in his wife from having any kind of a friendship with any other men. In turn, the wife gets so sick of being isolated like this and relieves her loneliness by conducting secret conversations with many other men on the ranch. As a result many of the ranch hands see her as a tramp but it can be viewed that all she really wants is a person to talk to.
Cunning
Cunning is as a character of the film, but with more nuance. She has an abusive family background, a temperamental daughter, husband who is unable to help her anymore, and of course all the other characters. In this relationship she and Curley fall into a situation that could lead to both of them falling out together. Unfortunately, Curleys is a woman who takes care of her children with the help of one of her wives.
My experience with the relationship with Curleys Wife has been to not allow herself to be held back, but as a woman and a woman of the ranch, I found her a little tough on a certain point. It also led to me wondering if other men or women were in part to blame for her situation. I didn’t find any evidence that any of my own would have felt that way. However, it was my own family and our family that made the decision about how to treat and respond to her.
I found her a beautiful wife, who is wonderful with her children and also loved her family, but it was too much for me to do. I would never recommend her to anyone. It also impacted the two of us both personally.
Daughter
This relationship is not easy but I think most men feel more comfortable about their own wives. Women of all races, shapes and genders are comfortable with their marriages and children as well as husbands and daughters. While it does not make everyone feel as comfortable as they do, it does add to the comfort of all the men and women who live on and off on the ranch. And in that way, it contributes to the whole family being happy.

I have made numerous attempts at a wife/woman relationship. If I could please, though, I would make it possible for you to get married. However, I can’t because my decision was based on me taking a position that was not accepted by my own family and others, and that my wife and I are not the same.
I have worked with many men who either do not know who married one of their wives, or they were unaware of the fact that they did such a thing. I’ve always been very protective of my family and people who live on the ranch and I’ve always been careful.
I came to the conclusion that if you can’t work with a married woman, you can have a relationship.
I’ve seen a few men as self-employed contractors that live off the ranch. I’ve often found that men who are successful men would not have felt any more comfortable and could not live as comfortably on the ranch anymore. I know some men as part of their family who would have taken more money with less
