The Wars to ComeBy: Anthony Hakeem Chapter 1: The Shadow Isles The age of darkness, and the island of hatred and detestation, and home to the Dark elves, which are known for their practice in dark magic and their acerseconomic hairs, a tradition for their kind as they thought if they cut their hairs, all their powers would slowly fade. The Shadow Isles or Gaedorel was once a sanctuary for the elves to gather and perform their rituals, until the Horde comes to conquer the lands. The Horde was one of the major factions of the entire land of Dracaros, and currently consists of clans from brown-skinned Ogres, Blood elves, and the Trolls. Their capital is the stronghold of Ogrimmar. They are known to be Ferocious in terms of war, often without mercy, and without tactics. They only follow the strong. The Dark elves of Gaedorel are forced to work as slaves to the Blood elves of Highpoint, their capital city. While Garrosh Doomhammer, chieftain of the ogres ravages the Shadow Isles. The Horde doesn’t know however, that the Dark elves have been slaves their entire life. The dark elves, serves the Scourge, the race of the undead who have been plaguing and destroying the lands of Dracaros. They did something infandous that brought humans to their senses, that in fact they were a threat to the world. Their race were eventually decimated and trounced by the Alliance and the Horde, leaving a small part of the Scourge to escape their wrath and rebuild dominance, but no one knew they still lived. On one particular evening, Garrosh discovered something that was better kept a secret between him, and the blood riders who followed him. “Warchief, our supply camp at Runeterra peak have been raided and was put to the torch!” Shouted an ogre grunt, “Raided? Whomever dares mess with the horde will never escape our fury!” Doomhammer replied, “Come warchief! Follow us to the camp! Our scouting wyverns have informed us that Dark elves are the one who took it down!” another grunt replied, On this point on, Garrosh knew something was going on indeed. Dark elves are known to be cowards and unable to battle, which was one of the reasons the Horde spared them and gave them to work for the Blood elves. Their clan uses magic to defend themselves. How could they possibly raid a supply camp guarded by trolls and ogres? This was not a normal day. “By the gods, this was not the work of the dark elves” Doomhammer replied softly, The trees were slowly decomposing. The lands filled with blood and blight. The air was filled with a foul stench. Everything was dark, even the burning encampments. On top of that, 6 pikes are in the middle of the clearing, and heads of trolls and ogres are mounted on them. Flies buzzing all around the place, and the men can scarcely hear what other ogre’s are saying. This was a warning.
“Who could have done this? Must be the work of a wizard-thing or some sort!” shouted an ogre grunt, “No, it could’ve been the dark elves! They do like their magic’s and little tricks… lets devour the lot of em!” a Troll replied, “It was the Undead Scourge. This was no ordinary blight. Any human who steps in here would’ve became a walking lifeless flesh. This feels like the work of a necromancer” Doomhammer replied, answering all their questions. “Let us leave then! All the way back to that forsaken land Draenor! One way or another we have to survive the upcoming attacks!” a quixotic troll replied in fear and safety of their own kind, “Damn it! Six good men died protecting this camp. Let us do our best to avenge them” said an ogre grunt, “We cant even if we want to. How will we strike if we don’t even know who the enemy is?” a troll replied, “We will find out, and when we do, we’ll break every bone, crush every limb, and tear them apart! Let us ride to Ogrimmar, gather our men, and march to Helios! Let us find the oracle, and break every limb he has until he tells us where is the remaining Scourge!” briskly shouted Doomhammer They left the Shadow Isles with hatred and anger, but it also builds their will to fight for their people. Six lives have been wasted, but hundreds will fight and live against the return of the Undead Scourge. What they didn’t notice however was a small flower behind the burning encampment. Still standing there. Watching ever so silently.Chapter 2: Victory or Death Doomhammer and his remaining men marched back to the capital stronghold of Orgrimmar, and took half the forces of they had, however some problems were encountered whilst trying to rally the forces. Several clan leaders disagreed in attacking the Scourge, as the men they had will be a waste.
