David Fire – StoryEssay title: David Fire – StoryMy EyesOne cold stormy night in the city of Corpus Christi a guy by the name of David Fire received a sign from God telling him that there would be a natural disaster so great that man kind was in danger of becoming extinct. These signs would come to him in his sleep and would feel as though they were happening right there in front of him. They felt so life like. He could never tell if they were real or not. This guy David Fire was a loner. He lived on the street from time to time and with family and friends here and there. He always thought he had a special gift and that one day his name would be called upon for something great. He never thought the one to call him would be God and that the messages he was given would be to the world. He often experienced these signs when times were the hardest. The problem that he had was knowing if they were real or not. He really had no prior faith in anything and was usually drinking or on some kind of drug. He merely thought these were self induced delusional episodes of more drugged and drunken nights. I mean, once you lose your mind, how sure of yourself can you really be.
This guy David Fire always had a way with people and never seemed to get into trouble. He could present himself in a way that people felt comfortable around him and even in a better mood when he came around. No one could tell that this guy had a hard life or that from time to time he was sleeping under a bridge. People really felt that they could trust this guy even though they knew of his drug and alcohol problem. To him it was just a way to pass the time. How much time did he have to pass anyway? Could someone actually have a long full life just doing drugs everyday and not doing a damn thing? The stories that he would tell were so real and life-like that it seemed as if he was and old wise man telling folk tales and stories of the past. It was really interesting to come across this guy. I just happened to meet him at my house and in the weirdest way. He was actually just passing by when I caught a glimpse of him, and when I noticed him he
Well in ’78 he was a well-known drug dealer, I had some interesting things to say about marijuana. We met at my home around the 2nd of July, 1978 and I asked him about his involvement in the legal drug trade. He was very quick to answer my question about his involvement with the trade, but he didn’t really hold back in answering it. After a brief introduction, and some quick listening I was able to understand that he was in for some tough times! After being back home, he was having a short conversation with my wife, and when she asked for his opinion, he got the message. In the end he said that he had a lot of friends, but that he did not think it was his fault that he was on drugs. If he was not going to have much choice, it would have been better to keep in the dark about it. Some of his friends were in the process of getting high and the only ones who could help was myself, who was a regular drinker and the rest were in jail when the situation got tough and that was what turned him off. He said that when he got out of the house he had told friends he was going to take them upstairs, and I didn’t hear anything from him until they got their heads around it. When I arrived at the door, my wife immediately said it was fine, and she ran to the stairs and jumped off the bridge to the bedroom. Her car was pulled up and she sped off down the bridge in her truck and started flying everywhere. She pulled up next to the truck and was riding down the side of the road, and there was a little bit of rock still around her and she had really run after the truck. I didn’t realize it at the time, but she was really on her way. Her next stop in the world was Los Angeles where I met up with her a few months later in Las Vegas when my mom was still out there and I met up at the Hotel Nevada. She was talking to me about some of her life activities and other things about her life, and her husband, who was actually back in his own life, was staying with them. This was a time when I remember going up to my girlfriend and saying, “Dad, this is some real life stuff that happened.” I had my sister take her hand and told her that I had seen her in a couple other cities she was working there for. She was surprised enough to tell me about it right away, about that time I met her and he was back with the hotel and I could just about follow her wherever she went, no one was afraid to come over, and I was completely on my side. On top of that, there was this person I remember saying, who looked like a really beautiful woman, she was going to kill her boyfriend. But after I told her about this, I told her I didn’t want to talk about it until she actually did talk about it. After I told her about my experience. My mom had to leave me there for a while, because she was upset and upset that this happened but she told me to get over it before taking me with her. As I started to get over my issues, I remember thinking, “How would this man say that to me if this happened?” I got so mad that I told her, in the end it was the best thing for me. Her husband was not that close of friend to me, but he had me through the whole thing. But I had a great experience with this guy.
