The biggest battle has been between Christianity and Islam where the views are both similar and different in terms of right or wrong. However of late it has been more of a battle between the two with one feeling more superior to the other, and that their religion is more important, justified and significant. With this happening it has caused a huge drift in the security in the country of Kenya, where killings are happening more often and making it a huge concern as to why it is happening and why Christians are being targeted. In an article written Fredrick Nwili (2014) In Nairobi, Roman Catholic Archbishop Zacchaeus Okoth said the attack was another indicator of growing insecurity. Tensions have been heightening as the government resists calls by opposition parties for national dialogue on issues such as the Islamist threats. The Rev. Peter Karanja, general secretary of the National Council of Churches, demanded that the government take decisive action to stem the rising stream of insecurity. Through this we can see that even religious leaders are feeling the impact of the war between Islam and Christianity and they feel as though even the protection of  Jesus as a deliever will not help them.
