I never actually enjoyed reading books in elementary and middle school. This may have occurred because I have never found the “right” book for me. All the books I read were chosen by the teachers. I always read these books, but they were not the ones that interest me. For that reason I never wanted to read because I always assumed that they all had the same “setup”.
Intensity, however, would change that feeling in me forever because I learned there are interesting books. As soon as I picked up this book, I was hooked. I read fifty pages in the first night alone! It is the best book I have read to date. However, I am sure it will not be for long because I plan to keep reading.
Dean Koontz is a renowned author by New York Times and known for his vivid details and multiple perceptions of his characters in the stories. He tells the story through one character, such as a victim, and then he will give another perception of the same event through the eyes of a murderer.
