Hi Everyone. I will talk about different Filipino traits. According to one of the site’s I have read is that “Filipinos are the most ebullient and easy-going people in the world”. But I think the best trait that we Filipinos have is being hospitable. Why? During the Spanish period Filipino Hospitality existed. Up until now we can see that Filipinos have this trait throughout the years. Their hospitality is not only observed in the Philippines, but it is also found wherever Filipinos live. Filipino communities around the world help others adjust to the foreign countrys culture and ways. Another one is being respectful to elders. This is often observed not just from younger people but also from older ones. These are the words that Filipinos use to show their respect when talking to elders or to someone that they respect. They usually punctuate or end a usual sentence in a conversation. Also, “opo” is sometimes equivalent to “yes” when answering questions from a respected person or from an elder. Another one is strong family ties. Filipino value their families so much that they tend to be intact. They believe in the saying “Blood is thicker than water”. Another one is that Filipinos are hardworking people to the fact that they are willing to work almost whole day just to feed their families. They said that Filipinos are the most loving and caring in the world. Filipinos has one of the best traits in the world. The trait and characteristics remained and applied until this time. Filipinos are the best and I can say that I’m a proud Filipino citizen.
