Creating a Domain Model
Creating a Domain Model
The expansion of an organization business has created a number of new business opportunities and a need for their supporting models. The Domain model is an assembly of linked computers that share user account information and a security policy. “The purpose of domain modeling is to make formal description tractable and routine rather than overwhelming and unpredictable.” Domain models are essential for understanding and organizing the increasing number of equipment as an organization make addition to their systems.

The logic for our DNS design has two main subdomains interconnected between different locations of the company. The locations have a different subdomain that allows them access with name-resolution resolving host names. Boston, Massachusetts, is Company Beta’s main location it has an executive management team, and a CIO, allowing each department in this location its own subdomain name. Boston, Massachusetts, location supports three other locations with three different subnets, enabling the subnets access from the subdomains linked with them. Company Beta’s Toronto, Canada location is the other main location that supports two other locations. The subnets allow the supported location connection to the Internet with a shared network address.

The manager at the Toronto office can use an ISDN line to send sensitive information from a remote location. To accommodate the office requirement, we set up an ISDN connect between the main locations of the Company. Using a committed telephone line the location can transmit digital data between the two locations, increasing the speed and quality.
