If I melt different types of chocolate, then I think milk chocolate will melt the fastest. Chocolate sometimes melts at the same rate. Harder chocolate may take longer than softer types. Chocolate has cocoa butter. Cookies and cream chocolate melts at low temperature because it contains more cocoa butter than other types. Cocoa butter contains soybean oil and coconut oil which are chemically and physically very close to cocoa butter. Dark chocolate contains small amount of cocoa butter. This experiment taught me about stress and that you can overcome it. If you have God by your side, you can get through life easier. The verse I chose was Psalm 119:43,”Trouble and distress have come up on me but your commands give me delight.”Milk Chocolate (1 piece ).Dark Chocolate (1 piece).Cookies and Cream Chocolate (1 piece).Pen.Journal.Clock app on your phone.Glass bowl.Microwave.Spoon.Manipulated: Dark, Milk, Cookies and Cream Chocolate Responding: The time taken to melt the different types of chocolate.Controlled: Where the chocolate is melted and the amount of chocolate you use for the experiment. The purpose of this project is to observe which chocolate melts the fastest. I used milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and cookies and cream for my experiment. I tested this by getting three different types of chocolate and putting them in a glass bowl separately in the microwave. Then every few seconds I would open the microwave to see if the chocolate melted. My hypothesis states if I melt different types of chocolate, then I think milk chocolate will melt the fastest. The results from this experiment did support my hypothesis by showing that milk chocolate did melt the fastest.

The first test I put a piece of milk chocolate in a glass bowl. Then I placed it in the microwave and saw how long it would take to melt . I did that with dark and cookies and cream chocolate and observed how long it took to melt. Some errors that I had in this experiment were I left the chocolate in the microwave too long so it burned. Also, I was having difficulties observing how it took the chocolate to melt because every other minute I had to check the chocolate.
