Faith: confidence or trust in a person or thing: faith in anothers ability.
Belief that is not based on proof:
When is faith not enough to keep you fighting? When does your faith crumble? When we have problems? When were going through a difficult time. When do we start yielding, and not believing? Is faith enough to keep you, us around? Its hard to believe in someone that you cant see and isnt there to help you when you need them.
I have not always been brought up to believe in god. My mother which is now a missionary of the Assembly of God although has. Every Sunday she was brought to church by my grandmother, listening to the word of the day, singing to the beat of gospel songs whether she wanted to or not shed have to go regardless. My mother a teen mom had her first child at the age of 19. She soon drifted from the “hands of god.” Moved out, partied, and drank, although doing so she always adhered to her child and never neglected. She stopped going to church, did what she wanted. Shes now crawled back to the hands of god. Religion its tough, having faith, Ive always had trouble with that. Various times questions such as, “Who is god? Where is he? Why cant I see him? How do I know that what Im following is the truth? Is he real, I dont see him? Yes I know that he was crucified to take away all of humanitys sin, that he never sinned himself. Is some one that generous that they would give up their life to purify our sins? Not even his own but our sins. Staying in the presence of god, following his commandments to a tee. Its impossible, Ive always been the type of person whos danced to the rhythm of my own drum, Ive never liked being told what to do, what to believe in. Ive always done what I wanted, most of the time not always the best or smartest paths but Ive learned and learned and learned.
