A very good morning to our principal, senior assistants, teachers and fellow students. I am sure that you are all aware regarding news about our dear friend who needs an eye operation. She must undergo an eye operation that costs RM20 000 but her family cant afford it. She comes from a very poor family. Her parents passed away and now she lives with her grandparents. Her grandfather works as a fisherman. According to her ophthalmologist, this operation is vital to her as she might go blind if she doesnt operate her eyes.
Therefore, let us together do our responsibility by helping her. It doesnt matter how much you can afford to contribute because together we can add up the amount of money that she needs. Hopefully our contribution could help us lessening their financial burden. Moreover, she will be sitting for the year-end PMR in just a couple of months. While we are busy studying at home with all the books that we need, our poor friend doesnt even have any revision books to study, let alone her examination fees. So, I am standing here today to appeal to all of you into helping our schoolmate.
Friends, most of us here live in a life full of comfort and luxury. Have we experience living in misery? Thats what our friend is facing right now. She is our dear friend. So, I urge you again to lend a hand to her in her time of need. Who knows, there will be time where we are the one who will need help one day. Remember, if we are a helpful person, rewards hereafter will be waiting for us. There will always be people that will help us back.
Besides direct contribution, on This Sunday, my class will be organizing a food sale. The profit from this activity will go to our unfortunate friend. We will be selling all sorts of food such as nasi ayam, curry puff, cakes and fresh fruit juices. I would like to invite all of you to support us. Furthermore, any class or club can arrange other fundraising activities to help our friend such as car wash or garage sale.
I hope all of you will respond generously to this appeal and contribute to this good cause. God will bless you abundantly for your kindness. Thank you
