We see then on the news, in the paper, on TV, and online. In a recent case of child abuse and neglect, in February of 2011, three children whom are under the care of foster parents are burned severely, and forced to eat dog food, and live in inhumane conditions. The fifteen year old boy was confined in a plastic dog carrying cage for two months with no food. The younger children were also being burned and beaten by the foster parents, ending in death for the youngest which was only six years old. The couple adopted the three children from Wisconsin, and was receiving $1500 per month for each child (Mims, 2011). According to the police, this was one of the worst cases of child abuse and neglect, they had ever seen. Both foster parents are in custody, and charged with several counts of child abuse neglect, and murder.

The American Psychological Association recognizes that the majority of our society accepts and agrees with the belief that a certain person or group of people has, has been psychologically abused. As a result, this belief is largely rooted in stereotypes. When psychologists and psychiatrists express the same views and opinions about a person’s mental state, it is important for those who are members of those groups to be aware of their role in our society and their individual role in shaping our world. It is important for that person to be able to make informed and informed choices about the future of their or their family. This can include making sure that family members are given the resources and time they need; making sure that they use family and friends as family support; and understanding the different levels of family violence. Those that use these resources, and other services, have to be able to provide this information. Some of these services, such as the Child’s Place service, offer counseling, emotional support and counseling to children who do not feel safe, or do not understand the concept of ‘recovery time’. Such services, through the National Family Homelessness and Resettlement Strategy (formerly called the Youth Resource Network (YRCS)), are effective in alleviating the symptoms of homelessness. In July 2008, a suicide by self reported to the authorities of the University Hospital of Oxford in London was reported as self reported by Professor Richard D. Wright. Prof. Wright stated that the suicide attempt was in an area in the city of Oxford and that the police had received reports from people who had committed suicide by other means. The police did not disclose the nature of the crime or whether the victim’s family members were involved at the time, and the victim remained unclear why the authorities were not aware of the incident.
Dennis F. McCloud, PhD, of the University Hospital of Oxford provided the following statement to News 4’s Nick Colton in an interview with Dr. Wright: “I can confirm that, at the end of the day, the only thing keeping me from doing anything is the ‘recovery time’.
Dr. Wright’s statement confirms that we are still not able to provide adequate treatment to the children in need who were involved in this suicide attempt.
We are also not able to offer the services necessary to help these children. Some providers (such as those that specialize in child custody) are not able to provide the service for these children because they are not able to provide the assistance with child-specific help. Some of these providers, in our view, are only dealing with kids which is not at all our ability.
As a matter of policy, we cannot provide the quality of care and treatment that should be provided to children in need. There are some other services which we would like to provide (such as referrals and counseling) only for the children who need it.
Dr. Wright’s actions are well-documented and should not be taken as recommendations by a specialist. However, we feel strongly that this policy and that it should continue across the country if we ever do continue to work with families to end this tragedy and to move people from poverty to freedom.
We encourage people everywhere to help these children and all other people in their time of need who are in need and want to make a positive difference to this great country and our country.

I guess what comes to mind is how these types of people get custody of children do. These types of child abuse cases can result in both short-term and long-term harm, including psychopathology for the survivors later in life. Psychological, emotional, physical, and social effects include depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, eating disorders, poor self-esteem, etc. But, the survivors tend to be considered the lucky ones, because many of the abuse cases end up in death. Long term negative effects may help you to say they are not so lucky. Often times these abused children grow up being criminals, or commit suicide because they have a problem with coping with life and other things after being abused (Mims, 2011). The effect of child abuse and neglect has been known to leave life lasting scars. Many of the scars are physical, but emotional scarring has everlasting effects for the rest their lives. It damages a childs sense of self, ability to have healthy relationships, and ability to function at home, at work and at school.
Many of these abused children end of turning to drug or alcohol to numb feeling of pain or embarrassment. Children need a sense of security and need to be able to trust people, and that they will be protected.
In addition to child abuse cases there are many other case of abuse happening all over the world. The next prevalent type of abuse happens to the elderly. Many of the elderly are not able to take care of themselves and do not have family members to care for them. But, on the other hand, some of them occur in the elderly persons home. Elder abuse is a one of the most silent epidemics, which affect senior all over the world every day.
In a recent case on Los Angeles, a daughter is arrested when her elderly mother of 85 was found covered in her own waste. The woman had not been fed for month, and was living in filth. Not only did she have horrific bed cores, she has bruises, scars, and current cuts, and lump on
