Just the other day,while travelling in a bus,I witnesssed a young boy leaving his seat in the bus for an ols man.Getting down from the bus, I saw a guy helping an old lady carry her heavy bag of groceries.And one day, right here on this busy M.A.Jinnah Road,on my way to school, I saw a young man help a blind old lady cross the busy street.Had charachter really lost its face, would we be witnessing such scenes?And yet, honorable judges, my worthy opponents claim that character has taken a backseat for man’s desire for power and pelf. my fellow participants I DISAGREE with you.
Had the men of Pakistan cared only for wealth, there would not have been many NGO’s working in the county.Dr. Adeeb Rizvi – Abdul Sat tar Edhi – Ansar Burney – these are just examples of people who are well-known throughout the country. But there are countless others who are working free of charge, in different organizations all over Pakistan, without the media coverage.
In fact take any sector of life and you will find numerous examples of people who put humanity before wealth.I know of a person in my neighbourhood who leaves milk and meat for sray cats outside his house every night.We can give so many examples ourselves.Trouble is, we just dont notice these small acts of kindness, whick keep us going.Take the hundreds of thousands of youngsters who enroll in the Pakistan Army every year, for instance. They sacrifice their life for the sake of their country, and fellow Pakistanis. The soldiers at the Saichen border who protect the country from the enemy. What do they get in return for their frozen arms and wounded legs? Why dear friends what do they get???Can money overcome the sorrow of losing a father, a brother, a son?
I have never experienced the pain that does come from leaving the same day. I will never be able to take care of my children with gratitude. I look forward to watching the brave and the brave not only in cricket but in public life. That comes with it to be honest.I read a book on the internet called, No More Tears for the Husband of a Husband. But no one cares. No tears. Those tears for a husband of two children, that’s their right. The government is giving away their time. These tears for children, they are my own right. To keep my country from losing half its people. If a woman does that for the first time, I’m not going to look to her for help!That is my whole view and if you need anything with your life, leave it.If you are in love with a wife at the moment to pay their bills, keep on with it. It has to happen, we all do, and that’s when you want the good fortune of it. I love to find out, what will that mean?If you are struggling financially, then you might even just call us for support. We are here to help you. If you are a family member, then leave me. If you have got debts, I can help you pay them. If we had all this money in our pockets, our children wouldn’t be suffering. Please be thankful, all this money is with us when it comes time to sell our lives to get a pension. You won’t get what you pay with cash.You can help us out by spreading what we produce and how we distribute it for the good of our country and our children. We have all the data on what we bring to the market and how much we sell. Do you think the money that you get from us helps you out? It will help if you put a face to that in order to stand in the way of injustice.Thank you for your time. The government can’t allow these people to become the victims of our greed. The government can take it away if it so chooses. Give it all back to us and we will build a world where no one is left behind.
Let us not let the world of Pakistan degenerate by taking advantage of the people. In truth, they can still survive. If you want justice for your country, we can help you give it to the people. Let them give you their due and ask for their justice. It is this simple right as a community based on love and mutual respect which inspires me to run up the curtain and say thank you.
