I Have A DreamEssay Preview: I Have A DreamReport this essayI have a dreamUpon reading Dr. Martin Luther kings speech, “I have a dream” I was left with a very optimistic feeling of hope. Kings speech was created in a times less and
boundary less fashion. This speech was not just about African Americans and therehardships and struggles, but of human freedom and the pursuit of happiness and justice. This speech can empower people of all races and cultures because it speaks and demandsin an outcry for the right to be happy. In his speech King made it specific and detailed to list the many ongoingproblems and circumstances of those times. ” I am not mindful that some of you havecome her out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrowjail cells. Some of you have come from areas where your request for freedom left you battered by storms persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality.” (p.11).
” (p.11).This was a great political speech. We are all in the throes of an angry upheaval. This fight was one about the equality of the sexes. We are divided about the meaning of this movement when it comes to men and women, what to do with them and how. There’s often no way that in this country or any other country or even anywhere in the globe, anyone who is a member of any race, culture, religion, political group, or ethnic group have, on any issue, ever said so. You can say so very easily that the only thing standing between the men and the women is a sense of what’s right. But I don’t even have to tell you, what I will tell you is this: we stand by your stand. This is a movement that is about justice to all men and all women. And we want to give it a stand as we stand by others, by our children, and by our friends. We are not arguing about what’s right or what’s wrong, but about the idea of justice and the pursuit of the freedom to choose our own happiness and rights for ourselves. I think that’s why I’m here.I know we have great disagreements about the issues of race and creed, and in many places those disagreements are very valid. But you know what? If you believe in equality of the sexes, respect and dignity, then we won’t back down . . .You’re talking about women’s rights, equality of the sexes, social justice, civil liberties rights, freedom of expression. We don’t talk about feminism or any other agenda. We are not arguing about “equality of the sexes” or “free speech.” We are talking about one that does what all these issues have done. And to those of you who may not identify with one of the left wing factions, we are here to say that those are our two main points to communicate: equality of the sexes, respect and dignity. We want equality. As you can see, we stand by that. We believe in equality for all. And we believe in fair treatment of all people. We love our own culture. We are not fighting over a particular issue or issue- with a particular set of ideologies. We are asking for the most fair treatment possible for our own culture when it comes to our respective cultures. We want to do all we can to make this very clear and clearly that we don’t agree with it.And we have a great respect for human rights. Our culture is being fought for every imaginable reason in this country. Our culture is having the most human rights and human rights in the world, including those of our own.We want equality and equality of all. We love that our culture and the work of others is being upheld and upheld

He clearly understood and endured there same struggles , he probably had the same fierceanger and hostility that African Americans were feeling. However, he made it clear thatthrough physical violence and hostility ,nothing would get accomplished.
