During the early 1500s Michelangelo started his painting on the Vatican in Rome and later was able to escape to do sculpturing for a couple of years because of the War in France. During his escape he followed his dream and that was to continue his work of sculpting because he didnt consider himself to be a painter, but rather a sculpture. Obviously, this was his passion and he was very reluctant to continue with his works on the Sistine Chapel. A few years later, he was called back to Rome to continue on his arts but he was very reluctant to do so. Essentially Michelangelo was obligated and forced into signing a four-year contract with the Catholic Church. He was wanted by the pope at the time and really had no-choice but to take the offer!
The arts of Michelangelo, dealt with many analytical observations of Natural Science, during the High Renaissance era. Where he focused his career working for the Catholic Church specifically, the “Sisteen Chapel” in Rome (Western Civilization, Pg 264). Moreover, he worked on the Vatican in Florence and spent many years working on this projects. His worked on the ceilings in the Catholic Church that eventually became famous throughout Western Europe.
In Florence his spent four-years working on the ceiling in which can be portrayed as being very elaborate, and detailed. Michelangelo used “gold” to paintings many of the ideas on the Vatican When he was called to Rome he painted figures from the book of Genesis. For example, his famous paintings was the “Creating of Adam,” that represented humanistic and realistic views of the Holy Bible used by Christians.
