Organisations are necessary for achieving certain goals and objectives which are difficult to achieve by individuals alone For example, consider the case of your own education. Can you get education without taking admission un a school or collage? Yes, you can, by making necessary arrangements at home, but that education may not be acceptable in the society. In this context, many questions arise: How to recruit, train and effectively manage people to maximize people and so on. According to Misra,G. Organisational behavior, which is also referred to as OB, is a multidisciplinary field of study which investigates the impact of individuals, groups, and organisational structures on behavior within the organisation for the purpose of applying such knowledge towards improving an organisations effectiveness.
Managers get things done through other. They make decisions, allocate resources, and direct the activities of others to attain goals.
According to Luthans Fred an effective manager (70%) spent more time on HR management and communication than average managers (49%) and successful managers (59%).
