One of the reasons why the electric cars project failed was the lack of technology although this concept was beyond its time. For instance, the batteries, they have always been a problem. the first batterie’s car was primitive, heavy, inefficient and toxic for living beings.It can be said the use of fossil fuels was boosted by the industrial age. Nowadays, fossil fuels are still affordable and easy to get. Moreover, Society has worried no long ago on global warning. Scientifics realized years ago, that air pollution also was caused by cars smoke.  So, the cars smoke also creates the greenhouse effect. Therefore, the quick respond was innovating by making the cars hybrid, and they have some advantages. First, hybrid engines work with electricity and fossil fuels. Second, Hybrid vehicles are made of lighter materials and its engine is smaller and lightweight which saves energy. On the negative side, Private companies like Tesla worked two years ago on a vehicle one hundred per cent electric. They succeed with their product, but it is never enough because this solution could be worse that the problem. Now, instead the fuel gases, we get highly contaminated wastes. If the disposal of the battery waste is managed incorrectly, it could be very dangerous for environment.Then, the companies need to create a battery so efficient, so light in weight and so ecofriendly with environment. Fortunately, there is scientific achievements in the recent years of a new kind of battery that is graphene batteries. This kind of battery is biodegradable, easy to make and cheaper than the old batteries.As a conclusion, if humanity don’t do anything against the global warming, the weather will be worse. The use of electric cars will be a help because the technology is getting better with years. Maybe in a few decades the main problems of electric vehicles will be solved, and they replace the old ones which working with fossil fuel. The greenhouse effect probably decreases thanks to electric cars.
