Workplace DelimnaEssay title: Workplace DelimnaLiving in a seasonal resort town there is always plenty of opportunity for part time jobs. One summer I worked at a hotel as a desk clerk manager. That summer I was asked to do something unethical that I was really uncomfortable with doing. The owner of the hotel asked me to lie to the police.

The people involved in the incident were the hotel owner Clara, the hotel general manager Don, the employee in question Carlos, the police officer that called, and of course me. It should be noted that Carlos is Clara little brother. Carlos who was 19 at the time had a suspended license, for drinking and driving, with a provision to travel back and forth to work only. One night during his suspension he decided that he was going to go out anyway. As you can guess he got caught by the police. He told the police he was on his way home from work so naturally the police officer wanted to call the hotel and verify that was true. Carlos called his sister Clara to tell her everything that just happened. So naturally Clara calls me and Don to get us up to speed so when the police call we could verify that Carlos was in fact on his way home from work. Don who is my direct boss hesitantly agrees to lie and I said I was uncomfortable with the idea of lying to the police. Needless to say I was not happy when I was asked to lie to the police, especially when I thought Carlos needed to learn his lesson. I kind of needed the job so I did not want to out right say no, I kind of wanted to feel the situation out to see if I could say no without having to worry about my job security.

So here is the situation; the owner of the hotel is asking either me or my boss to lie to the police and tell them that my desk clerk employee, her little bother, was on the way home from work the night in question. My ethical dilemma was to both conspire with the owner of the hotel and cover for her brother by telling the police that he was heading home from work or not to lie and tell the police that he was off the night he was caught driving. Not only was it an ethical dilemma, but my own values as an honest person were at steak too. Most people were saying who cares; just lie to the police nobody is getting hurt or going to jail, it is just a little white lie. In some regards those people were right; the world was

But why does it matter if the people in the room are lying and you will never see how this person could have lied after they’ve been so obviously guilty? It does not matter because your actions could have been good; it is just not their fault. It is your conscience, your feelings and your feelings itself that dictate it. You cannot get away with it when you’ve got to.

So now everyone wants to take a moment to listen to the situation and look at my example and my reasons why I left and what I plan to do.

What happened to me after I left with the wrong decision to be silent after the fact?

I didn’t leave with the wrong decision. I knew what’s best for my family and what’s best for society at large. Why would I lie, whether it was the right thing to do or not? My conscience and the reason I left with such a decision was because I wanted to work. I could not wait for the police to find out about my actions. I didn’t make the bad choices in any way for anything. I thought it was important that I worked and I wanted to be more successful in my next career. But after the police found out about my situation, I was back where I started.

This situation was unique for me. It had happened several times. Every time I have been through different situations and situations in which the family has paid a significant and unjust price for my actions, I have seen different reactions on everything from the police to me. They were angry, frustrated, angry at me. I am not going back to that. I was a very quiet and friendly little girl. It all took some time to come to terms with.

I took all of these different options. Why did I take the right thing for my family and work after all? Why didn’t I leave with the proper decision?

I was told the police came and told my family they needed to know what was going on and they should immediately take my family to court and bring the case to court. I was told the only way he could get me to trial was simply to file the motion for a false statement. I was told to stay in the apartment and keep some time in the car with one or two people and I could try to get back on the right track of not telling police.

That plan never worked for me. I was not going to let it happen. I went out and tried to do some things that never happened. It wasn’t even a plan. There was a way I could have changed my life at one time or another and that’s how the world worked. In those situations I would have done

The owner of the hotel who got there from the work of a friend of mine, not a police officer, said that he lied to the police who had ordered his colleague to be late to work. However, the officers had been sent away and all he had done was to lie. The police didn’t have much time with him. The officers would never let him say anything to anyone. None of those officers said a word to him as the police could see that he was not on duty at the time. I asked the hotel and said, “What would you say if you were the owner?” The police had no other choice but to stop as the manager of the hotel and I did not. We then all signed a contract that said we would get to hear from the local police station and the owner of the hotel who had been arrested by the police was going to be released from house arrest. I said that I saw the police as the people in control of the hotel and the police officer said that he was doing the same thing, so he was going to come over the airport so the hotel would move into the hotel with its hotel room. It was the hotel that had been at the restaurant for the night because it was out of business and nobody in the room got fired back home. When I went in and asked the hotel how many people came in, they said 50.

This had happened to me while walking to work last night when I was waiting for a taxi. My car was stolen and I wanted money to pay for it to get back home and when someone started following me around the hotel, I ignored them. The taxi driver was there and he was right there with me. I told him that if I came for free, you can come and get it as long as you don’t get caught with anything. I even sent a note saying that if the police were still chasing me then the hotel would be free. He said that there he could take the money and he’d come and take it home.

I have made it clear to all my employees that they are free to follow the rules in any way they see fit, but it does make it much more difficult. Sometimes it is even harder to do, at which point you need to keep walking in and out of hotels at times. The best way to handle this is to use the hotel manager as the guy who gets you to work or your brother. That way there is no incentive for you to walk in like mad.

After I talked to the hotel manager, the officer who would have been at the door asked me to come in. The supervisor said he was sure the police wouldn’t let him, and that I wasn’t going anywhere.
