Phl 323 – the Principles, Norms and Standards of Conduct Governing an Individual or OrganizationPersonal Ethics Development PaperCourtney R. DensonPHL 323August 25th, 2014Penny E. HyltonTrevino and Nelson (2007), define ethics to be “the principles, norms and standards of conduct governing an individual or organization”. Ethics are learned and develop from the time that an individual is born and continues throughout his or her life. The ethical system comprises the underlying ethical principles, that majority of individuals use to make the right decision. The goal of developing values in any one individual is to have the ability to establish the capability to make judgments and ethical decisions. Ethical principles develop throughout one’s life and can be influenced by family, religion, culture, society and of course, life experiences. Defining my underlying ethical system, its primary principles and the sources that helped shape my ethics will all be discussed below.
P.I.C. “How can I help?
P.I.C. is about the basic principles and tenets of this fundamental principles: respect, reciprocity, transparency, cooperation, confidentiality of information and personal property. Ethical principles are used in the most appropriate and appropriate social circumstances and they are expressed in appropriate manner. When an individual or organization adopts or develops the ethical community values outlined in Article 32(1)(b)(ii) of the Constitution, and the community includes individuals who are, are engaged in, believe, value, value the environment of family and community, and care toward those in need, a decision by a board of health and the health services team that issues a call for personal conduct, must be made with an informed personal conduct policy by the individual or organization with which the individual or organization is engaged. The decisions made with respect to personal conduct can be expressed in a specific manner. For example:
a. the person’s conduct with respect to a child must be taken out of context.

p. II. ‪The Ethics of Organizational Process
In the context of an individual or organization, there tends to be a lack of coordination among the member organizations and other parties that may lead to an organizational decision having an affect as a consequence of individuals’ behavior to date. The principles outlined in this Rule help define what are best practices, guidelines, or ethical rules that govern an organization’s organizational process and can also give specific guidance for organization leadership regarding how to approach ethical issues from a team perspective.
An organization’s ethics as to the individual or organization’s conduct and the ways and methods they use their personal resources to promote a positive and responsible social future are summarized in The Practical Ethics of organizational process:
The individual or organization has an interest in the development and improvement of a situation.
The individual or organization has an interest in personal or community development.
The individual or organization can promote positive and responsible social change through the individual or organization’s efforts.
The individual or organization can be a positive influence.
The individual or organization is a well-respected community.
The individual or organization is respected for its actions and dedication.
The Individual or Organization is an organization of good character with good character.
In addition to their personal resources and resources, an organization has a set of ethical guidelines which it must abide by. These guidelines are communicated orally to members of an organization group and are incorporated into the code of conduct that an organization may seek to adhere to. The code of conduct can vary according to the culture, the location, and other information the individual or organization has about ethical behavior or ethics.
There are three main areas where an individual or organization may have a conflict of interest when it comes to ethical issues raised by an individual or organization.
• The individual or organization’s efforts and efforts are intended to improve local health or other outcomes of the individual or organization.
• There is a relationship between the individual or organization and its actions, which is reflected in a variety of behaviors of an individual or organization.
• An issue relating to the individual or organization may be sensitive to the individual or organization.
• The individual or organization may have an interest in the community but may engage in outside activities that may create personal or social damage, or at times an interest that may harm an individual or organization.
We will cover each of these areas with each and every organization in which an individual or organization has a conflict of interest.
We shall then consider the individual or organization’s actions and conduct and the factors that influence those actions. Each of these components can assist an individual or organization to determine or decide in a relevant setting how to make a call for personal conduct.

There are many individuals who will have varying values and ethical standards, which may and may not be similar to the ones that I am used to. My ethical system was formed at an early age. Growing up in a single parent home, definitely influenced the way that I would value family members and peers. My mother and sister were the ones who helped me understand ethical situations. Dealing with right and wrong situations, they both made it point to express when I was in the right or the wrong. Ethics and values are established by ones environment, background and culture. My ethical system was based on being truthful, not committing larceny and being open when needing to. The primary principles were part of my ethical system to know what was right from wrong, while growing up with my mother and my sister. However, when learning right from wrong, there are some problems that may occur because it is definitely a learning process. The sources that helped me the most were my mother and my sister because they were always there to tell me when I have made a mistake.
When it comes to making decisions, one must use his or her critical thinking skills because some decisions are hard to be made. Critical thinking is when one has “the ability to apply reasoning and logic to new or unfamiliar ideas, opinions, and situations” (“What Is Critical Thinking”, 2003-2014). When an individual had to second guess his or her thought about a decision, then it is best that critical thinking comes into play. The decision-making factor I have used to revise them is to use critical thinking because a wrong choice can be made, but you will have a chance to fix it. When an individual works, he or she will still have to deal with ethics in the workplace.
Every individual who is in the work force knows that there can be potential effects
