Ethics Game Dilemma
After completing the ethics games simulation as the manager of an organization, ethical decisions will have to be made to resolve two ethical dilemmas. Before a decision is made there are many factors that have to be taken into consideration. The Mysterious Rose is first dilemma, which includes the possibility of harassment of an employee named Gayle by a coworker named Bill. Gayle continues to receive anonymous flowers, and it has become increasingly uncomfortable for her. Bill confided in in me that he believed Gayle was having a hard time this quarter, and was sending her flowers to help bring up her confidence. Gayle is unsure how to handle this situation and asked for a confidential meeting to discuss her concerns. The second dilemma The Cold Feet is based on the decision-making process for the dilemma of the integrity of data reporting. After reviewing data and results from both Nikolai Zubanov and Phillip Waters there is a possibility that Phillip has falsifying data to sway the results.

The Rights and Responsibility I lens I instructed Gayle that review the G-Bio Sport handbook prior to our meeting and that I would keep her personal matter confidential, but depending on the issue I may have to report it as work related problem. With advice of the organization’s Ethics Officer Rian I had to identify the dilemma, which was it sexual harassment or not, break it down, and come up with a solution in response to Gayle. The results lens helped me identify my duties, which were to follow organizational protocols to reduce the company liability, ensure that my employees have the tools to protect themselves in the workplace, and make sure that the organization is lawsuit free. As Gayle’s manager the Rights and Responsibility lens gave me the tools to decide the treatment of all stakeholders in this decision and the Results lens helped to make a decision that was best
