What it does when you make words taboo is basically shaming the other individual for simply being human not for their actions and projects those who use such taboo words are considered, “ incompetent communicators.” Well, fuck that because social standards are subjective and no one should be silenced due to another’s ignorance. 2. I believe there is no ethical reason to ban any certain words. Words are used in many contexts and simply cloaked as a different version of book banning. This includes anything that doesn’t conform to the status quo and their nationalistic social standards especially when it comes to religious lobbyist groups who have created most of these taboos. Discrimination based on ones physical appearance seems to be the largest form on inequality I have witnessed and even have been victim too for my overweight in the past. This prejudice can be found in almost any setting including our personal relationships to the workplace and employment practices. The pressure to be attractive in today’s societies pushes individuals to the tremendous strives including plastic surgery.  In my opinion, it doesn’t matter what you are, only who you are as a person. We need a grassroots movement to accept everyone.
