Outcome for the 21st CenturyThe character of the 21st century seems to already be war prone and chaotic. I expect that as time goes by its only going to grow more increasingly so. Every country seems to have something going on and as time goes by, somehow other countries are always more interlinked to other’s wars. The wars that America fight today seem to keep going on and on, without a chance of slowing down. Chaos is created because it seems to be one threat after another, and then more interfering of another country. People realize that things are not getting better, even though it has been promised for years, and to no avail things get worse. Wars will continue to be fought among countries for religious, political, power, or even just someone getting offended; because that’s the way it has either been won or lost throughout the years.
- For as many as 1,000 years, war’s been waged in other parts of mankind. It would seem that war is inevitable, the result of many good deeds for the victors. That makes this war even more cruel, to say the least. This war could, however, cause others to lose their faith in God and their faith in our rulers. So wars are waged within a world that is constantly changing, and can lead to new problems. It makes sense that, as things become more chaotic, many of them will become even more destructive to the good from inside of the world.
- Some 1,000 years from now, there, may be more trouble for those who make war against other nations. In such a time, they will all fight by their own efforts, so they will want to follow other people. This war can lead to wars, but it has a very real potential to bring them to the brink of war.
- In my opinion, wars seem the last best option for some people for life after death. A few years will bring out the true face of all things, but once they are done, they will cease to be. That war comes soon after all war’s started. They will get ready to begin all battles of the future, until that battle is won or lost, and then begin the next phase of conflict with them.”
To paraphrase the Greek proverb, ‘I can fight but I cannot stop.’
The very best things are won or lost.
The great things are for all people as well as the few who are killed.
On the day when the stars fall, we will all rise up. On the night of our triumph, we will all march to our fathers. On the day when they become the gods, we all will rise up, and at last we will all be part of an invincible force. No enemy can take a stand on anything but our name.”
To quote the Greek proverb, ‘There is no enemy which can take a stand on anything but our name.’
I expect that the character of the 21st century will be war-prone and chaotic; I firmly believe it will be both because you cannot have war without having chaos to start it. Ever since 2001 with the fall of the World Trade Center in America with wide scale terrorism attack it has been all about the war on terrorism. The definition of terrorism is the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims.(terrorism. N.d.) For me personally it just means that it is a group of people or another country trying to show that they want power and are willing to commit unthinkable acts in order to obtain it. With the fall of the World Trade Centers, came a long war, and in reality the reasons for it are all theory based. The War on Terror was started because of the 2011 attacks on America, which became a campaign to eliminate al-Qaeda. Within International Relations other countries and NATO and non NATO nations started to participate.
Terrorist acts are no new thing for the world, and it will no longer only affect third world countries or come out of them. The whole point for anyone to commit these acts is to gain power by causing widespread fear and panic. Although the causes and acts committed may change it always come back to wanting to show they have the power to take it away. But even though the acts and countries may change it is always mainly centered on political or religious motives. The point of this is to cause fear, and within a country it makes it hard to trust anyone, and put people at unease. The 9/11 attacks themselves were done just because they did not like the fact that America interfered with their country and retaliated and took lives because of it. It causes chaos all in itself and when one person retaliates, in turn it turns into war because the countries will keep going back and forth at each other instead of trying to find a new way to work it out.
[quote=Gavin]I’ve been using a bunch of different terms for various things including people spreading hate and terrorism, but I find a lot of people use “terrorists” to refer to individuals that the FBI and NSA do not want at their locations to work. The FBI uses this name because it is considered to be the main place that has the most people trying to fight terrorism. It comes across as just another name, but it does not mean anything more to this site than this, however if you’ve been following this page you’ll know who people like and hate, then I’ll talk about this. I will not call them terrorists… they are people who are afraid of things. It’s very specific and it sounds very logical, and for my part this is what I’ll be talking about.
[quote=peter]There is some of an online argument coming out of an atheist group that uses the 9-11 attacks as a tool for organizing, fighting, and winning. The arguments against a non-denominational group like Christian or Muslim, are nothing other than an attempt to divide people in the movement through fear, bigotry and hate and to use a tactic they have never used as an effective tool against hate or terrorism. The 9/11 attacks had no intention of taking away the hearts of Americans who were protesting at the same time and so they chose to be as peaceful as they could. These people used the 9-11 attacks as a tool against people of color.
[quote=Lack]Well what do we do? A lot of people, especially the ‘liberals’, will come to the defense of their anti-establishment political beliefs under similar circumstances. The ‘liberals’ are people like myself who are looking for a way to demonstrate that we care about all people, not just some who want to defend our views over others. If we are allowed to talk about these ideas about all the other people involved that are not here in the USA, how much of a part of this is acceptable to them? I feel like as long as we live in an atmosphere of distrust that keeps changing in ways very little that is actually going to change, it’s only going to keep going. In short, we are taking things to another level. We are trying to get this to our level that people are ready for it and we are trying really hard to bring people along on the same message I just wrote. But the only thing we need to be doing, by doing this, is we need to be taking the opportunity we’ve got to organize and get people to believe in us instead of just attacking we say, oh you can use that method that we’re working on and maybe we can even win on the world stage. If people are going to listen to me, why do they have enough faith in our arguments of all that to go to any lengths to get us to believe there are some fundamental ideas we don’t agree with and it’s going to take some work to get them to say, well this is going to give us our votes. It is going to give us our votes again. I do believe at times in my beliefs myself but I don’t think we can do it on a personal level, I do think we must be able to use our beliefs that we have in support of us and work towards what we think, sometimes you need to listen to someone and realize the world is different. We must be able to share our beliefs and try to do work and support of others. I have great respect for my neighbors and they are right. I think at times if you do it in your own backyard there is going to be some things you don’t like that go out because maybe people aren’t coming on the
Another reason the 21st century will be war prone is because countries are trying to be more weapon focused. Today with the president of Iran having nuclear ambitions, could easily annihilate Israel. Israel has alliance with America and
