Nelson Mandela
Nelson Mandela is one of the most famous leaders in the world. He was born in 1918 and raised from a humble background north of the city of Johannesburg. He was placed under house arrest and accused falsely on several occasions and in solitude for 28 years. This illustrates his perseverance as a leader.
