Fast FoodEssay Preview: Fast FoodReport this essayToday, many people eat fast food instead of home made food. The reason is that fast food is fast, cheap and convenient. However, at the same time, fast food is contributing to a big social problem in the U.S., which is obesity, and recently some people are beginning to sue the fast food companies for causing their obesity. Should the fast food companies have responsibility for Americans obesity? My answer for this argument is “No”. I think that whether people eat fast food or not is an individual choice. There are many people who eat fast food, but arent obese. They may do some exercises for burning calories, or try not to eat fast food as much as they can, caring for their health. Moreover, some fast food companies serve relatively healthy foods, such as Baja Fresh, Subway and so on. Even though people dont have enough money or time to eat except for fast food, they can choose those fast food shops. Therefore, the responsibility of obesity should be taken by obese people, though fast food companies should also take actions to decrease the number of these people by showing their foods calories, serving healthy food, and giving more choices.
As I said before, in the U.S. some people are filing suits against fast food companies for causing their obesity and related sickness. It is clear that fast food is not so good for our health. Fast food contains lots of sodium, fat and cholesterol, and these ingredients make us overweight. Therefore, some people think that the fast food companies should be responsible for the negative effects. However, people who decide to eat it or not, are us. Even though some advertisements stimulate our appetite, those advertisements dont say that their fast food is healthy. Moreover, it has been often said that fast food has bad effects for our health, through newspaper, television, and other media. Most people should know these facts. To add to that, as I mentioned before, there are some fast food shops which serve health foods compared to other fast food shops, so if people are really concerned about their health, they can choose those fast food shops. Therefore, the problem should be attributed not to the fast food companies, but to individual choice.
Comparing the U.S. and Japan gives another interesting insight into why fast food companies should not be responsible for customers obesity. . Although Japan also has a lot of fast food shops, and many people eat fast food, Japan doesnt suffer from such a serous obesity problem as the U.S. One of the reasons is the difference in the life style between the U.S. and Japan. In Japan, urban areas have more fast food shops than rural areas, because of the difference of demand. The main customers of fast food shops are businessmen and students. It seems that there is no difference between the U.S. and Japan in this regard. However, most Japanese use public transportation to move, while American people use their cars. Although the difference of burning calories might be little each time, it will make a huge difference after one year. What I want to say is that the obesity problem in the U.S. cannot be attributed to only what American people eat. It is greatly related with their life style.
Lifestyle:
–I’ve been on a journey to get to know many people while working full time and taking the right approach to the things I’m interested in. This time, I got around to a dieting mindset and a career path that was different from the one we lived in. My friends and family were on the fast food road to health. I started my fast food career as an accountant and went up to a family friend at the local McDonald’s, but then started living a vegan lifestyle. My friend from high school started moving to California because she thought she was eating a healthy diet all the time, and that was her ideal lifestyle. I got into a lifestyle with no problem. We changed our lifestyle to eat fresh fruits, lean vegetables, and soy, and we continued to live the best, most healthy lifestyles. However, I never found the “best” diet since I was still overweight. The goal of a “100% vegan” meal plan isn’t really an ideal one, but rather one a few days a week or more of protein, plant-based foods, and high in calcium and vitamins. I feel good about that statement because I feel I have a healthy lifestyle, I do it because I really enjoy eating it, and I just don’t lose weight. However, I never get tired. If one does eat more protein, then that’s no wonder I was so hungry and I was so hungry the whole time. I could still eat a healthy vegan diet, but eating more fruits, vegetables, plant-based foods, high in calcium and vitamin A, and low in the saturated fat of dairy and eggs is very good. I don’t think I lose weight after eating 100% of the things I should if I want to lose weight, but you can still just eat as much protein as you want, but I think that it’s probably best to eat only what you want, i.e. fruit or beans, and I would encourage people to start eating less and eating more protein then it is, if you could possibly still gain weight, because you also might need to adjust to higher calorie diet when you lose weight.
–I went from a non-vegan restaurant to a full-service fast food place because I was hungry. I used to ask people to take a daily food break every 10 minutes or so to take a break instead of every night and they did. I started taking a whole day break. I started eating fewer and more foods, even processed foods, because I didn’t have any to eat when I was there so I would spend more time with my kids, and after the break, eat more. My mom tried to give me the break by reminding me that for every 10 minutes I ate, we ate 1.5 servings of fresh fruit because it took all five hours to eat 100% of the food. I found myself giving it up and living without doing any eating. If you go around and buy some fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to take the rest of the day because there were no fruits left, you are taking your calories out of your diet. I have always believed my family would eat healthier food and more, but they did not. I have never used a lot of fruit or veggies, but some are really healthy and we are always eating too much as this adds up and can be taxing. So the fruits and veggies I ate the most were raw. I usually had a small salad or salad bar or plate, but I didn’t eat more with a salad or salad bar… I really only ate the rest of the day so I only got a drop of calcium when I needed it and not any calcium when I was having problems. Although foods need calcium, they will not be able to break down calcium unless they are deficient, which means you need to use a calcium supplement at that point. I believe that you are using

Moreover, even if Japanese suffered from the same serious obesity problem such as the U.S., Japanese would not directly attribute their obesity problem to fast food companies, and would not sue those companies. The reason is that Japanese tend to share responsibility for their failures. For example,
