An employee before being offered the position should be well examined whether his character and behavior deems fit to such a position. A person with not very good communication skills may never be good in marketing or an employee who cannot work with female employees may give a superb output if the working conditions are molded according to his requirements. Hence, the decision making procedure of the top management should be even more significant so that after the employee is offered the position, his negligence in work output does not hamper the betterment of the organization.
It is also the duty of the managers to know the ins and outs of the employees working under him. An efficient manager recognizes his employees, learns their strengths and weaknesses and helps them to work accordingly. If an employee is not being able to cope up with the work, he should be politely but strictly instructed to improve. Also sufficient amount of help should be provided by the manager.
On failures, he should not be rebuked or fired but encouraged. Thus he will not feel intimidated or embarrassed rather his morale would be boosted. And he would try even better to improve his faults. Even after trying everything, if the situations remain unchanged, the employee should be kept at desk and should be provided with improved training facilities.
Each and every employee should try and exude his best. But if one is not being able to do so because of petty conditions, the rest of the team employees should help him leap through such difficulties. There should not be any ragging of such an employee. But he should be treated with that extra amount of care if it is seen that the employee is endeavoring his best to give his hundred percent
.Even the smallest of errors in the decision making of the policy makers may prove to be the greatest one faced by the employees or managers or the top management. Stringent policies should be laid down keeping the entire structure of the organization in mind. The novice employees should be provided with a complete intensive training before letting them deal with the intricacies of an organisation. The weak points of the employees should be identified and strengthened. It should be seen before that these training professionals are actually the building blocks of the organisation.
