In the first mentoring session, lecturer asked us to come up with an idea by using the creative problem solving model in a certain time. At first,I was panic because I am lack of creativity and I was worried about whether I can cooperate with my team as most of the teammates were first met. However, under the leadership of my group, he gave us some time to think of what is the trend now and also what leads to the trend that we observed. Meanwhile, we had our outcomes and thing goes smoothly by following the creative problem solving model. While, my opinion in the discussion is that people are repeating their daily routine and lack of enjoyment in life. After some debates, we all agreed that people used to forget things and seeking for convenience in daily life. Moreover, we choose the problem which more people are facing. We also manage to discuss the idea in the specific time given. I learned time management, team-working, problem solving and oral communication through this mentoring session. I also learned to accept disagreement that were given on my point and felt more confident than before as I know more about my teammates and not so awkward anymore. This mentoring session gives the benefits for me to approach to larger groups. I learned these through lecturers explanation and description. Besides that, I get these learning through doing,engaging and experience it by being part of the group. Furthermore, I am able to think things outside of the box despite thinking things stubbornly.
