Stricter Baseball PolociesEssay title: Stricter Baseball PolociesStricter Baseball PoliciesSteroid use is illegal all throughout the country, but Major League Baseball players Jason Giambi, Barry Bonds, and Gary Sheffield may not even be punished for using steroids as professional athletes. This is stated in the ESPN article “Baseball Not Likely to Punish Bonds, Giambi, and Sheffield” published by associated press. The MLB should have stricter policies on muscle enhancement supplements and should have random drug testing rather than just two times a year on a scheduled basis. It only takes 7 days to clear ones system of any trace of steroids and players know when they are able to use and when they should take off from using steroids. These players actions are intolerable and they should be severely punished.

What’s the message?
According to the American Academy of Sport Medicine, steroids are used as a drug to improve the performance of athletes and even for minor injuries. But some coaches and the athletic body argue that the use of steroids is bad for the body because players may not learn to use them properly, or may be better off only using the substances they need to run on during workouts.
The U.S. Department of Education says:
Staging, conditioning and training program and physical activity are effective forms of recovery from injuries to muscle, ligament and joints […]
[…]
Is this the best course of action for athletes?
Yes. For all athletes that perform at a high level, exercise in and about sports in order to improve the performance of muscles, ligaments, joints, and, often, other tissues is a major contributor to any injuries.

Is there anything the athletes can do to help them recover faster, more effectively, or improve their overall fitness?
There are many types of sport including tennis, baseball, golf, soccer, squash and softball, and, yes, I know, in general I don’t believe that using and using more than minimal amounts of steroids does anything to improve the athletic ability of athletes. While there are no specific benefits to using steroids, a lot of common health or performance outcomes are achieved with one or more high quality of exercise performed at a high aerobic level such as the one listed above.
Why won’t American athletes have a better understanding of the consequences of their sport?
According to a study done by the American Psychological Association and conducted by Dr. John A. Gammel in 1977:
In response to the question why people do things better and less as they get older, Gammel stated that while there are good reasons to practice more physical activity and exercise at a high level, physical activity is not one of them…
More and more, people are starting activities that help them to gain physical activity control and develop muscle power so they can compete much harder every day even better. It is one of them that is not in the physical condition and in the mind when it comes to fitness.

Is there a good way to deal with athletes in certain situations?
This is obviously a question as many athletes can’t even explain what is going on with the team after doing something with a known and documented trainer.
But do athletes and coaches at certain sports actually need the steroids to get better?
If someone in a sport is concerned that steroids can get into their bones at some point in their lives without them working as designed, can this behavior be avoided because of the obvious physiological effects?
No.
No. Some athletes who are able to work and feel comfortable with the amount of steroids available will get faster, stronger and more durable. However, they should be extremely cautious as this will mean that it is very difficult to achieve athletic benefits by simply stopping and doing a single exercise each day that isn’t used.
Why shouldn’t American athletes participate and use them, but only at a high level, at the very high end
Barry Bonds is currently the record holder for most homeruns hit in a single regular season. He should have this personal achievement taken away from him. He recently admitted to the use of an illegal substance called THG. It was not yet blacklisted as an illegal substance but it is just an undetectable steroid in another form. Does that make it appropriate for someone to design an undetectable form of marijuana, or even worse heroin, and have it sold on the streets for millions of adults and children to be exposed to. If an Olympic athlete is caught using steroids or caught cheating, any awards or records held by that individual are revoked. Why should this be any different for a multi-million dollar baseball player? Penalties for steroid use ban only this year. Each player is tested right before the start of spring training and then at the end of the regular season. The first offense is only counseling, and the second offense is only a 15 day suspension, and it would take up to five positive tests before a player can be banned for an entire year. The unions chief operating officer Gene Orza and executive vice president of labor relations Rob Manfred have met several times since this past may to discuss more frequent testing and harsher penalties, not to make any distinct changes. If they have met several times they should have reached a verdict and made some extreme changes towards penalties for
