This leaves the subject of this painting feeling like an outsider, so different from everybody else. We can associate the poetesss situation with the example of a queen, taken from her throne and placed to live among villagers. No matter how much the queen, so majestic and powerful, tries to adapt herself to her new home, the villagers will find it very difficult to labor and eat alongside the queen comfortably. After studying just this one question of why the subjects of these pieces of art are isolated we can see how elaborate the topic of isolation and “the outsider” is conveyed.
