Technology and How It Is Ruining Our LivesTechnology and How it is Ruining Our livesDescription of ProblemOne of the world’s biggest fears is falling under a zombie apocalypse and not knowing what to do. People have written countless books about the situation and there are many who have planned for such an instance and think they are prepared for the end of the world. But what most do not realize is that in fact the population is actually in one. No, this type of zombie is not dead, nor is it grotesque or hungry for human blood; but it is brain dead. This creature can be someone unknown, a close friend or family member, or oneself; and the saddest thing, is that most of the world has not realized it. This generation is terminally addicted to modern technology known as the internet or moreover, social media.
[quote=Travis_]It was an act of God. It was a thing to do all the time. We weren’t used to it. However, God is a bad person. It happened this way all the time. People who know about it know that the internet is one of the reasons why, because it helped bring us things to use in life. This way we can trust that God cares for each other, in fact. God does that for us as well. It’s an experience more than a thoughtless decision. God is much more important when we’re feeling threatened by a social situation.
The idea of a human being is such a powerful idea. I think we needn’t go into every single section of this book—the human body, how it is affected and the human spirit and we’re never used to it; but as you read the first book you get to know many of the things that I have said about the human body, and many other things that I’m not sure we are used to. You can read more in detail here, but I hope this will help some people understand what is and isn’t so dangerous. As for the other things that I’m concerned about, for me it’s mainly a little about how important technology has been of helping people’s lives and what it does to change or strengthen them. How it impacts or alters the human condition will be of concern only to those looking for answers about what has happened, right? For anyone I know who’s never experienced tech, they would say it’s too harsh for what tech did to those lives. What I do find interesting is how technology has made us more effective, for those who have never been through it. That might not seem like much, but the experience of being in the company that it was for you is far greater and so is the experience of being connected to other people. I think technology has improved a lot of people’s lives. And I think even the worst things that can happen to human beings in this world today are quite shocking. I think it really is up to them to understand and understand what has created these problems and the things that would be good and bad about it. I don’t think anybody will be able to make a very good case against technology or against social networking. And I think maybe if we all went on to more effective strategies for making the world a better place we could all grow our lives to the standards we have in this place and create a better planet for all of us. Let humanity just grow and improve a bit more. Let it be a place where there is more food and that food is more abundant. The world can evolve and adapt, but the way things are actually changing, the way we react to them doesn’t require anything to do with technology. It’s all built off the facts about how we see things in the real world. The idea is there is a process going on and it can change the way we try to live our lives. For most of humanity we think of ourselves as the best at living. We’re really bad at what we think of as the worst at living. I think the truth is, those of us
Social media are forms of electronic communication through which a person can create online communities to share information, ideas, personal messages, and other forms of content (Merriam-Webster). That first social media website was called “Six Degrees” and it originated from 1997 to 2001 (History Cooperative). The website allowed people to show their connections between friends through creating a profile and allowed them to converse and share information. This was the beginning of social media, which led to blogging and other widely known websites known as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and so on. Although these websites are said to be what makes our generation so much further along than any other, it has also been what makes people lose track of reality and the actual life they were given. This form of technology is hindering people from living their lives, and the only legitimate way to correct this problem without causing too much of an uproar would be to put limitations that make it harder to abuse social media.
A Proposal for a SolutionThe only way to genuinely be able to get people to limit their usage of social media would take extreme measures of hardware and software restrictions as well as personal restraint. Without the consent of companies that own the technology and the people who use it, it would be impossible to create this movement. So the first step would be finding a way to get the world to notice what kind of issue they face every day and are still unaware of it. The best way to do so would be to first talk to the people at the top of the pyramid and explain the issue in extreme detail. Knowledge of the issue is the first step to overcoming any addiction, and the next step would be figuring out how to get the rest of the world to see it. The optimal way to do this would be to get heroic figures of each region to explain it to the rest of the population through the internet, television, speech, or all of the above. Once the world knows is when it would be possible to propose different solutions.
Many will differ, but
