The Female HeartReaction PaperThe Female HeartThe piece is named “The Female Heart”, created by Linda Faigao. It wants to display the existing focal issues that our country is going through and the play is quite successful in portraying those. These issues are mainly the roots of poverty and the difficult situations that a typical person in the marginalized sector is suffering. It made me realize that Philippines hasn’t change much, the problems in the past is still haunting our contemporary days and even worse. I aspire the significant people in the government to see this play, for them to be fully aware of an individual’s perspective of the current Philippine setting.
I like how the author used the progressing life of a girl and her family to systematically show the main points the play wants to show. With just the life of a typical girl, all the issues are made interconnected. These major issues consist of poverty itself, government’s insufficient support for education, low quality of the marginalized sector’s education, inability of many children to avail education, lack of jobs for people who have no diploma, and the “bride for sale”.
I think the play also wants to state that the development of our society starts with providing proper education to all its citizen. I agree with this idea, because further development of our country’s economy would lie to the next generation’s abilities. I believe that the government should give more attention to the provision of education to children, and not just mediocre education, but rather proper education. Because just like portrayed in the play, there are still flaws seen in the quality of the nation’s education. Also, it saddens me that in order to avail education, many sacrifices should be done. An example of this is the situation that the brother of Adelfa went into. Angelo didn’t even finish high school so
And we should do a public service to help him, not to say ‘he should go off abroad and get better education.’
The government needs to put this up with the people’s government. An effective, sustainable way for our country is to give them some sort of education that will enhance their skills

The same people that came before me, that started my quest for a better life, have already started taking care of this. They gave up. We need a better approach, but it is not the only path. We need to be better too.
The development of our country is already being put into place, and we need to give them a clear direction and let them set their own course. That is why I hope the government will take a more active role in this process, and instead of taking on a leadership role. The more political change, the more important it is from within, and the better we can become of our society.
The time is right to give money to a country that has already undergone a good long period of preparation so that it will take into account all the needs of the population. Our country is already in perfect conditions after a few years of good training and preparation, and even then there will not be much to worry about. Our people have already got their ideas prepared, we have already brought them into practice and decided upon one of the recommendations of our work, which is to raise education by the number of children, and not just by the number of parents. We might get some good advice and encourage the parents to make the decision to educate their children.
This means that all the work of our welfare state needs to be done. We will do work to improve education, especially for the children; we need to do what is necessary to maintain quality of life and for growth. We want to show all the children that we are ready to help. I expect this, that we will help to build a system of education across the country. Let’s do a good thing here. With this being called the first state of excellence in education, with the help of all education experts, and with the knowledge we need to build this country, I think we can go to the next level if we act wisely and with care.
