Lured into LoveEssay title: Lured into LoveIn the novel O Pioneers!, Willa Cather introduces Marie into the story as the center of attention. By foreshadowing in the beginning of the novel her attraction to everyone around her, one can clearly see how the problems to come have a firm foundation leading to the problems with Marie and her affection towards a common soul, man or woman, and the affect it has on her relationship.

From a common standpoint, anyone could see the affect Marie had on the people around her. The energetic, bubbly, affectionate emotions, in which she had inside, led one to believe that she was always happy. Her concealment of her relationship with Frank Shabata and the happenings at home was extraordinary. The dealings with her and her husband will be later found out, by Alexandra, who suddenly realizes that Marie isn’t at all happy with her life. Alexandra also doesn’t know the fact that she is making Marie’s life harder, day by day. The foreshadowing of this situation, allows the reader to endure the problem in a bird’s eye form. Her force on Marie, is a very crucial standpoint in the plot of this novel. Her dedication to the farm, allows herself to become wrapped up in the thought of perfection, therefore letting situations outside the farm escalate.

The reader is then assured that the situation in the world today is not that bad as it once was… it was still a few years ago! This book will open with an amazing world we see today, a beautiful, lush setting, and even as it turns out, the farm wasn’t that bad. Now that the story has been told, it’s been established that there have been many failures within the farm that have had to be confronted. Not only the lack of quality farmers’ farms that have existed a long time, but also the lack of quality farmhouses, particularly the ones with limited resources, is a major issue in recent history. As much as many people say the problem with modern agriculture is that poor farmers become more and more dependent, many of them have lost or left their homes, or are unemployed, even though that would be the only way to stay afloat. But despite this, many of the “unsuccessful” farmers can continue farming, because of their ability to find decent paying, quality jobs, because they are self sufficient, or for “experts” or even because they know that at least some of the mistakes made by previous farmers with a greater understanding of the process. This will bring much success in the future, so hopefully those future farmers who will follow Marie to find a better future and succeed are those who can help her get past the “unsuccessful” years.

The ending of “Trouble’s in Us”,” as the title proclaims from the very start of the book, is truly breathtaking. It is a true quote of a classic, to say the least. The way in which there is a tremendous amount of sadness over “Trouble’s in Us” is breathtaking to say the least. It is beautiful to see Marie going through all the mistakes and tribulations that have plagued her life over the years. The novel has some very beautiful imagery that is not that of everyday life, but it can be interpreted that way because of the way it was written here. This is where it really shines. While the ending may not appeal to everyone or even everyone interested in this kind of story, it is an absolute gold mine for those of you who enjoy the original, true story, who can read it, and who are going to buy it for yourself. If you want to see more wonderful and interesting examples of what was made by writer and author James Dauvergne for one of the world’s greatest novels, you should check out his other books, such as The Last of Men, and all the books that do exist, The Little Black Bear, Black Bear, by Ewan McGregor. This book is filled with everything that James Dauvergne did right, and at times the best of James Dauvergne.

As quoted from page 112, “Frank was the only one, Alexandra told herself, for whom anything could be done. He had been less in the wrong than any of them, and he was paying the heaviest penalty. She often felt that she herself has been more to blame than poor frank. From the time the Shabatas has first moved to the neighboring farm, she had omitted no opportunity of throwing Marie and Emil together.” the reader now knows that Alexandra has no time for the land and no time for anything else but to mourn and began to evaluate the process of how this could have happened.
