Making a Complaint
We live in an imperfect world, for that reason there is always something that we are not satisfied with and that we want to complain about. In a perfect world, we would never have anything to complain about, but as I mentioned before we don’t so this is how to make a good complaint.

Make a list of what your specific complaint is. Why are you complaining about? What is wrong with the product or service you received? You have to be very specific about the error and what you want.

Decide what resolution you want. Do you want an exchange? Your money back? A free trial? A free whatever it was you bought that was not satisfactory. Be reasonable in this request. If your meal was missing the glass of jus you ordered, then asking for a free meal is a bit much. A more reasonable request would be to get two free glasses of jus the next time you visit or right away if you drove back to get them.

Research who to contact to make the complaint, who’s the responsible person for the complaints. Most often you can call customer service and start there. As soon as possible, contact the person in charge to explain the problem and the outcome you want. In many cases a simple phone call or visit can fix the problem. It is a good idea to formally put your concerns in writing – that way, the seller is clearly aware of the problem and what you want, and you also have a record of your contact. Also if you write a complaint, make sure that your letter is complete. Include your contact information in case they need to get more information from you. Include in your letter the reason for your dissatisfaction and what youd like for them to do. Always be courteous and professional. Also you have to use proper spelling and grammar to establish credibility. A letter or email of complaint should: explain the problem, explain the outcome you want, outline the steps you will take if you and the seller cannot resolve the problem, and ask for a response within a reasonable
