Cardiff Central Railway Station Case
Rush hour commences on platform 6 at Cardiff Central railway station. An enormous, royal-blue coloured train decelerates to a stop, its box-like carriages releasing a stampede of passengers, scurrying to the exit like a million minute clown fish rushing away from a shark. On the opposite platform, crowds of exhausted bodies stand, anxiously anticipating their long awaited transportation.

In the centre of the multitude, a rusty, red-stained metal bench is situated inviting the weary-boned to lounge upon its base. Alwyn Jenkins is slouched on the seat, he grins with satisfaction, knowing that he is one of the lucky few to experience the luxury of having the firm metal to perch himself upon. His snow-white pale hands clench on the chilled arm rest, as if he is trying to maintain the heat in his body, which is slowly disappearing into the icy winds of Cardiff.

A cluster of elderly women babble to each other, discussing the latest events of the city . Mrs Silver, gazing through her circular spectacles, receives the latest gossip from the city. The freezing air causes Miss Morris to shiver under her clean-cut, crisp white buttoned blouse, gradually little goose bumps begin to appear on her lower arms.

Caroline, located at the front of the crowd, has been drowned in work all day and her tired legs are in dire need of a sit down. Although the unbearable pain of her limbs causes her body to wobble like a jelly fish, her eyes are preoccupied with the security cameras surrounding the platform. She could swear that they seem to be watching her. Eight lenses like sly eyes closely observing every move Caroline makes.

The Taylor family were all kitted out in beige hiking boots, mud-brown thick fleeces and khaki three-quarter length trousers. On each of their arms hangs a large army-like rucksacks, after enduring a 30 minute wait they make the decision to crouch down on the floor and rest their worn out bodies.
